Pacific Run Antique Mall

found a lot that i loved here & got a couple of great deals. honestly though, after the first time, i came back to find a gift for my mother in law a couple of months later, & it was basically all of the same stuff. i’d love to see dealers bring in more!

I really like this antique mall. Staff is friendly and there is a nice mix of antique and more modern (1960’s) items for sale at reasonable prices. Be advised, if you want to go look at the furniture warehouse in back, you need to find an employee to take you back there.

I was just in the store today and at first it seemed like a really interesting place. Lots of stuff that’s for sure! More like a giant garage sale than an «antique» shop. Anyway, I was browsing around and saw a PC game called Age of Mythology. This is a fairly old game (10+ years ago) and I’ve been having a tough time finding it so I was pretty excited to see it there! So I bought it on sale for $ 5 on clearance from $ 14.95. This is what upset me about this store. I took it home to install it on my computer. When I opened the nice new-​looking box, THE GAME WAS NOT INSIDE! It was a completely DIFFERENT game! So I called and someone over the phone conveniently tells me there’s nothing they can do because all sales are final and that it says it right on the receipt! I knew that all sales were final, but I figured they should have made an exception since I didn’t get what I paid for! I will NEVER go back there again! I know it was only $ 5, but it was a complete WASTE of my money and the game I DID get inside the box requires another expansion in order to play it so I can’t even enjoy what I DID buy! SO AWFUL! AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NEARLY NONEXISTENT! The man at the cash register was rude and only spoke to me twice to ask for payment and to tell me my total! Consider this a WARNING! BUYER BEWARE!

It’s huge! Very good customer service, they see your hands are full of stuff and they offer to help you and take it up to the counter. Very friendly employees as well!

very neat place — the café I heard about was closed though sadly. TONS of great stuff in all kinds of price ranges. I left with a couple adorable elephants as a housewarming/​thank you gift to my host in Tacoma. Definitely a fun place, I easily spent two hours there.

While not the largest mall around, they have good variety. Prices from their dealers are very competitive. I tend to go every few months to see what is new.

This place is packed full to the brim with antiques. There really is something for everyone. A great spot to spend a lazy Sunday. The café shop is a great little hideaway when you need a rest from antiquing. We enjoyed a slice of huckleberry pie, but they also have soup & sandwiches.

This place is HUGE! You can spend hours looking at everything! There is a cozy Café in the very back of the store. Lots of beautiful costume jewelry, great furniture pieces, toys, coins, china, clothes, etc. I thought the prices were decent. Most items/​booths were 10%, 20%, or 50% off… Great deals. If you like to wander & look or are a collector I suggest stopping by the store.

This indeed is a large space filled with antiques and for the most part fairly organized. I gave it a single star due to a bad experience I had while in there. I was looking for a vintage window for a project I was doing. A pleasant older lady approached me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. When I told her she said she would have to take me back to the furniture showroom, which of course conjured up grand visions of just that. When we went into the ‘showroom’ it was was actually a dark, dingy, dusty, disorganized space with things somewhat haphazardly stored, things piled on top of each other and jumbled in corners… not quite as bad as St. Vincent’s Thrift Store on 56^th — but a distant second. As I picked my way around the large room I spotted a pile of windows against the back wall. I was delighted to find exactly what I was searching for. The saleslady was assisting another shopper, so I approached the man at the cash register and asked if he could get me a price and help me carry the window out. He rudely told me I should not have gone back there without being accompanied. I told him I had been escorted back there, to which he immediately called for the lady who helped me and began to chastise her — it was a very awkward and uncomfortable moment. If that wasn’t bad enough, then a lady, whom I assume was his wife started in on this sweet lady as well. He finally snapped at me to follow him and show him where I found the window. As we made our way back through the ‘showroom’ he continued to rant about the fact I shouldn’t have been left in that room to my own devices, I was getting a little more angry with each moment that went by. When I pointed to where the window was he turned to me and said «Are you kidding me? You actually went back there — could you not tell that this area was not designed for anyone to go back to?» Well, for starters the furniture ‘showroom’ as a whole is disorganized. There was no signage anywhere that I could see that designated what was off limits. Fact is, no one should ever be allowed back there accompanied or not until it is cleaned up and properly organized. Secondly, the owner and his wife could most certainly use lessons in customer service skills — they could probably take a lesson from that sweet sales lady in their employ — though, if I were her I would have probably quit on the spot. I have never written a poor review such as this before — I usually prefer to sing the praises of a business — but this was so disheartening and not the first time I had witnessed rude behavior by this couple … the fact they so publicly chastised their employee made me feel that perhaps turnabout is fair play. I have spent a modest amount of money in that store over the past year or so, and have brought many an out of town visitor in to that store, but I will never go back into this shop again — that is unless I hear it is being run by someone else.

This is a great little place that’s hidden away in the back of an antique shop. They have great homemade soup and very nice sandwiches. It is a good place for a pleasant and quiet talk with friends. Their soup and half Sandwich specials are excellent anytime.

I was on a mission to find a Super Nintendo and while we started our venture at the B&I, we ended up here after reading about a space selling comics and video games. There was no phone number, but it said we could buy stuff in a space at the Pacific Run Antique Mall. We had about 30 minutes to spare and were only five minutes away as it was on the way home from the B&I.
So we pull up front and walk inside. It’s me and two buddies, we’re all in our late 20’s/early 30’s, normal looking guys. We kinda wander around, trying to find the space the houses the super nintendo that I’ve been dying to locate. My girlfriend wants to try and beat me at Super Mario Kart and I need to prove her wrong. A lady eventually asks us if we need help finding anything and I ask her if there is someone selling «comics and video games.» She says, «ahhhh, you must have seen the craigslist ad, right this way». She walks us over, shows us what is for sale and tells us that if we have any questions or want to buy anything, to come and find her.
My luck is down and there is no Super Nintendo to be found. There is a classis NES system with game for $ 50, which would have been my top dollar price for the SNES, but I wouldn’t know what he would charge at this point. There are a few games for the SNES, NES and even the genesis and we talk about buying one or two, but after all is said and done, we decide to wander around the store and see if we can’t find some cool old stuff to take home.
The three of us wander around as a group, constantly saying things like, «whoa, look at this» and «no way!» and «so tempted to buy this!». As we near the closing time, we begin to notice a pattern. The original lady is doing laps and keeping an eye on us. She’s friendly and being my girlfriend was a retail manager for several years, I know what she’s doing. But she’s tactful and not «obviously» watching us like we’re thieves, just keeping tabs on us and doing her job. No big deal. After a few minutes, we have an older gentleman show up and starts being very obvious about watching us. We would walk down an aisle and he would be on the exact opposite side, reading a book, arranging things and other obviously non-​obvious things to make sure he was by our side. He did this for the last five minutes or so that we spent there and when we all walked out, we kind of looked at each other and my buddy says, «it’s been a long time since I felt like I was stealing something, about 20 years to be exact». We all laughed and agreed.
The place was cool, lots of neat antiques, kind of felt like being at my grandparents house. I can’t say much about prices since it seems to be a massive consignment shop, but I really wish we had more time. I’m obviously a little perturbed by the older gentleman following around and I realize they’re not in the best neighborhood, but I honestly felt like I about to rob the place for all it was worth and I really wasn’t into it and doubt I’ll go back unless that one little space gets a SNES for anything less than $ 50.

This place is huge! As antique malls go this place is up near the top. There are certainly some overpriced dealers but along with those there are also some great deals to be found. The antiques range from high end to thrift store junk (I think I saw a velvet Elvis upstairs too!). One tip would be if it’s a really hot day you might want to avoid it since the back and upstairs are not air-​conditioned. We went early on a hot day and by 11am it was pretty hot in parts of the store. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with questions and even gave us a discount that we didn’t know about. It was a great experience overall.
