Q Nail Spa

Went in here yesterday to get a full set. The person who helped me wasn’t much of a talker but she worked fast and shaped them pretty well. Nails aren’t too thin or too thick. Did charge me 35 bucks for a standard full set which is a tad bit higher than most places but still not bad. I would return.

Oh no, not today! Or tomorrow. Or ever.
Place had a nice enough décor; however, the attitudes of the technicians… hell no. Walk in and some woman is yelling across the room, «what you want?» and when I say pedicure and maybe a manicure, same woman, who I cannot see over the front display SNAPS — «pick your color».
Some woman, probably the yelling snapper, walks over to the row of spa chairs and starts the water to fill the foot bath. Ignores me when I ask for the restroom, ignores me when I ask for the spa menu… mind you, she’s right near me. I find the restroom, use it and come out to the spa chair, dip my toe in — the water is cool, verging on cold. I dip over the magazine stack for something to read — 1 – 2 year old, threadbare Vogue and Seventeen magazines… so I slink back to the chair. Stick my feet into the now damn near cold water and adjust the seat and massage action — at least 10 minutes have passed. When I ask, politely, how long until I can receive my service, the Bitchomatic snaps «one minute». So I inform her that the water is now cold. Snappy Sally looks me dead in my face and snaps «5 minutes you wait.» I”m like, «oh no, no.» This bitch stands up AND snaps, while she slams her tools down «fine, I’ll do you right now.»
During this say, 15 minutes of interaction, this bitch is ruder than rude, like I’m paining her to even be in her presence, no eye contact, didn’t even bother to show me the pedicure menu, NOTHING, and then acting like shes doing me a huge favor. Bitch, please — all you had to do was be polite, inform me that the wait was 20 minutes or whatever and at least ASK me if the water was fucking okay. Soo, no, no you’re not doing my nails, I am not giving your ass my hard earned money. NO.
There are plenty of nail places in Tacoma. Fuck this place, for real.

I really like this nail salon! Its very beautiful and very tropical! Ive been going here for a while and i like it a lot. The ladies are very nice too

Love this little gem! So close to my house, beautiful clean salon, and open sundays! The technicians are all very sweet. This is my second time getting my nails done here and I will continue to come here it the future!
