Like the store and their floral department and pharmacy, but if the review were solely based on the deli it would have 0 stars. Ordered a sandwich tray and pinwheel snacks for my daughter’s 6th birthday party and paid when I ordered. They made them the day of the event and I went to pick them up and they tried to charge me a second time for $ 70 worth of food. I got out without paying a second time, but it was a bit of an argument and finally I told them if they charge me a second time I will call my bank and stop payment, I’m not paying twice. The Nutella pinwheels and strawberries were delicious, but the sandwiches were dry as hell and some of them only had the bottom bread(I cannot fathom how you cannot notice a sandwich is missing a top). Will be trying a different deli next year. Included a photo of my online statement showing when the payment went through. Paying customers should not be treated like that, and I was embarrassed to serve such dry sandwiches to my guests.

This is a pretty small Safeway. It almost looks like a convenience store just because of the size. I like the staff that works here, it pretty clean although the downside is they only have a very limited selection of items. Wanna do a long shopping for everything? This is not the place for you. I do come in however for a quick bite or if I need some small supply.

I come in to this Safeway 3 – 5 times per week. Their pharmacists are friendly and remember my face(mostly). Their deli items are usually fresh, although sometimes they get left in too long and you end up with some really dried out and/or stale food. However, if you bring in your receipt, they will issue a refund without any issue. I also get coffee from the Tully’s inside a lot, and, while the cashier isn’t super extroverted, she blends the drinks the way I like them. I am somewhat critical about how my coffee drinks are blended, so it’s nice having a place located so conveniently that also tastes alright and isn’t too expensive. You can also request items to be made fresh in the deli if you’re skeptical and they don’t complain or seem irritated. This Safeway is smaller than a lot in the area, but it’s the closest to my house, and although the pharmacy often runs out of medications or has a bit of a wait on things, I find the friendly staff, cozy waiting room with soothing scenes on the television, convenience to decent food and coffee, etc., well worth my while. With all that said, do keep in mind it is a smaller store with a lot of traffic. They run out of things constantly.
