We hired Wallflower to do our photography for our July wedding this past summer. While they were more than we hoped to pay (we had a small budget for our wedding) we thought photos were the most important thing and went for it. We were not disappointed! I love the photojournalist style of photography they use (candids vs a lot of posed shots). Their style really reflected their name. We rarely noticed them that day. We did our posed shots before the ceremony and then they just let the day flow. When we got our CD of photos we were blown away! They did an incredible job coming up with artistic posed shots and getting candids that truly captured the spirit of the day and the personality of our friends and family. Everyone loves the photos we put on Facebook (they give a CD with all your pictures-​both in high resolution for printing and smaller ones for social media). We are planning on ordering a large canvas and photo book in the coming months. Can’t wait to have the pictures in print. :)

I’ll admit. I was at first researching for a specific price point for a photographer. Then I google searched wedding photos of my venue, and 8 out of 10 photos that I loved came from Wallflower. Okay… still slightly out of my range, but incredible nonetheless. A friend then told me «I searched for photography within a budget and my photos, while good-​were not amazing. What you keep picking is amazing… and since this is all you have (besides your husband of course) after the wedding… Do yourself a favor, budget for this». And I did.
And it was the best decision I ever made. (again, besides my husband)
Scott and Laura have the most incredible eye for capturing incredible moments which evoke emotion like no other. They capture the happiness, the stress, the funny moments and all of the in between. They are the reason I saw the rest of my wedding, and all the guests. They make mountains out of molehills, rain or shine… or in our case… sweating profusely in the sunshine that us PNW residents aren’t totally used to. They are incredibly easy to work with, and the dynamic needed between you and the photographer (you know, in order to feel comfortable with the camera) comes really quickly with Wallflower. Honestly most of the wedding we didn’t even know they were there, but they were everywhere, not skipping a beat. They worked great with us not «naturals» in front of the camera, and were amazing at directing groups. Also, SO INCREDIBLY awesome at making things happen when your timeline gets completely screwed up.
Their photography is incredible. Their eye for capturing those once in a lifetime moments is unmatched. Best decision EVER to invest in having Wallflower photography capture the memories that will bring me right back to the best day of my life.

I hired Wallflower Photography 2 years ago for my wedding. I interviewed 3 local photographers and chose Wallflower because they were the most affordable, I felt comfortable with them (husband and wife team) and because I liked their photo-​journalistic style of photography. As it turns out, they’re also award-​winning photographers.
For almost ½ to ¹⁄₃ the price of other wedding photographers, I got 2 photographers and 4 hours work (at the wedding and reception site) from them. They used professional digital cameras, were willing to do some retouching and provided a proof book and cd’s of all the photos. They also provided black and white and sepia toned photos, along w/​color photos.
They were incredibly easy to work with. They listened to our particular needs and were very responsive regarding emails and voice mails. I definitely recommend them and look forward to using them as our family grows (for portraits).
