GREAT outfit and GREAT service. Very professional and straightforward on all levels. And… one of the best deals in Tahoe — trust me on that. VERY IMPORTANT — they use COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, NOT PERSONAL. Be wary of other outfits that use their own personal insurance for renting. THESE GUYS DO IT RIGHT.
Met us early for inspection and walkthrough… boat was in fantastic shape. Had a BLAST with friends… would do it 100 times again… and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for your next boat rental up in Tahoe. Had never rented a boat before so was a bit nervous… but these guys made it a breeze. AAA+++

Such a professional, well-​run business — the boat was in perfect condition, exactly as described. The first day run-​through was thorough, and the boat was on time for put-​in and pull-​out each day. They were extremely easy to work with, as well, as we decided on times and called with questions. We have rented many boats over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had — highly recommend and plan to rent again!

You can’t compare any other boat rental service on Lake Tahoe to what Rafid has to offer. Price? He beats it. Toys? If the boat wasn’t enough, he tossed in a wakeboard, tube, and skis. Hours? 1.5 times as long as any other rental agency. Security? He gives you a thorough rundown of the boat and instructions on how to handle it. Also, the complete coverage of the insurance policy eases your mind that, no matter what happens, no cost over $ 1000 will incur. Bliss? Yes, the sound system rocks.
Overall, it’s just too advantageous to pass up. Rafid is a pleasure to work with. I can’t wait to rent from him next summer and create more memories on the lake that will last a lifetime.

I rented a boat from them this past week, but when we turned up in the morning the wind was howling across the lake! He let us reserve for another day that was open with no hassles. We went over the boat that morning, and it was a very nice boat, in great shape, and he also included all the toys in the cost of the rental. Compared to other options on the lake, and this was bar far the best. Gave us his cell phone, helped with places to ski, where to have lunch, etc. Really nice boat, great guy, and easy process to rent. Thanks!

Rented from Boats on Tahoe this past weekend for two days. Boat was in excellent condition and they couldn’t have been nicer about the whole rental process. Price beats anything you can get on the lake and they include a wakeboard, inflatable and skis with the rental. Kids loved the stereo that let them pound out the tunes while boarding! We will be definitely be renting from Rafid again next year!
Rental process through Fun2Rent was very easy and I like the fact that there is an insurance policy in place if anything were to occur.

Also every one of his renters is insured with $ 100,000 liability and $ 25,000 of collision coverage for this owners boat. Renters also receive $ 10,000 of coverage for other property damage on top of collision coverage for the boat.
Beware of other rental companies that can not provide renters with liability coverage, or collision coverage. If you rent from these companies, your on the hook for all damages or liabilities.
