After snowshoeing for too-many hours, we stumbled into WSP for some grub and drink. Ordered a Hawaiian split Haole and a carnivore. Also ordered a calzone and pizza skins(?). It’s a smaller place so expect to wait a little bit(but that’s why you order drinks :)), but the food was absolutely amazing. The décor is nice; I’m a huge fan of the deer with the hat. Even more amazing than the food, was Melinda our waitress. Very friendly: she memorized our different customized orders(party of 7) and made sure that our drinks were never empty. Better service I have never had and I’ll return whenever I’m up in Tahoe. Ps. They’re not kidding when they say the calzones are bicycle-helmet-sized; we couldn’t finish one it was so massive… and delicious.

The worst pizza and service ever. 15 minutes for an iced tea. Never offered or came with waters. 40 minutes for the for pizza stuck appetizer. Over an hours wait for the pizza itself. Another 15 minutes for the side of ranch that was ordered at the same time as the pizza. Terrible! You are better off going to the maket, buying a frozen pizza and toppings than spending your money on this crap. Be warned!

The pizza is delicious(almost thin crust, cooked just right, delicious cheese, fresh and gracious amounts of toppings) and the beer is ice cold. And there is shuffleboard. Enough said.

There’s been some mixed reviews here on Unilocal for West Shore Pizza. Don’t confuse this with West Side which was here up to Oct. 2014. West Shore is on the way to be a staple here in Tahoma. I, my kids and my wife absolutely love this place. Food is great, reasonably priced and I’ve been here 4 times in the last 2 months oct-Nov 2015. Elizabeth, Sarah and Elaina all do an excellent job. Give them a try and please realize… this place has two pizza ovens and if they get slammed, it’s gonna take awhile! So here’s an update: New Years Day! 2016. Finally got here when the place was slammed. No tables or bar space available. Hand full of people standing inside the front door waiting for the pickup orders. I put my name on the list to eat in. There were 4 families ahead of us ranging from 2 – 7 people. We were told 45 minute wait. We figured every other restaurant in the basin would be slammed tonight so decided to hangout. Besides, I was wanting that meatball sandwich. We got there about 7:15, sat at 8pm. Took a little while to get ordered, but I think we had everything ordered by 8:15. By 8:45 we were eating and by 9:30 we were done. I don’t understand why anyone is bad mouthing this place. Yes, a couple of times I had to ask for attention. Can I get a glass of water, some ranch, or a round of sodas. But we were tended to well and felt employees were working diligently. Let’s keep this place going.

Visiting my buddy who lives in Tahoma 2 minutes from West Shore Pizza on a very busy holiday week. Pizza was excellent, wings were top notch, beer was fantastic. Staff was friendly and efficient and the owners were in the thick of it working hard along side their staff. I believe this is my new favorite Tahoe eatery!

Very rude wait staff. A young female server gave us a hard time while we were waiting to place an order. It’s not our fault the line layout blocks some of the tables. We told owner and he did not care. We took our business elsewhere and will not return.

Server was extremely rude to us while we were trying to place our to go order. The line to order blocks some of the tables and the server started yelling at us to move and saying things like«I am not going to ask again». We told the owner about it and that we were taking our business elsewhere and he did not seem to care. Avoid unless you like being treated as a nuisance.

Good calzones they can make any pizza into a calzone wonderful!!! I called in an order after a day at the beach when I got there it was ready to go. I ate as much as I could it was so good!!! I saved the rest for leftovers and it was great warmed up the next day. Well worth the money and the stop!

Don’t believe the bad reviews! I ordered a pizza for pick up on a Fri night at 6:30 and it was ready in 30 mins. The service was fast and friendly. I almost skipped this place from others reviews but glad I didn’t. Go here!

While on vacation we were pretty sure we weren’t going to come across Gluten Free Pizza any where. Boy were we surprised when we discovered this amazing pizza place right down the road! Pizza was amazing, service was quick. We ate here 3 – 4 times during our stay.

No service at all. Took an hour and a half to get the pizza. Took 45 minutes to get a refill of water. Everyone at the bar got multiple beers in the time I got one water. Terrible service.

Pretty good pizza. I like how they decorated the place.(Yes, there’s that comment again, about how I like how a place is decorated) They put bicycles up near the ceiling. Nice! Our server was nice, but she did take a while to take payment from us for our check.

I just received a semi-snarky private message, from what I assume is the owner/manager(Aimee S.), trying to explain this away and mad that I left a negative review. In the end, they left me with the advice… «For the future never call after 5:00 during the summer if you want a pizza fast. We are slammed by then.» Which was pretty much the gist of what I was trying to warn against in my review. But if you didn’t believe me, now you have it from the owner/manager’s own mouth. If you want takeout after 5:00, in under two hours, look elsewhere. And for the record, I found plenty of other pizza options in the area that somehow managed the summertime rush(by staffing up or preparing for the busy time of year), and could easily handle a takeout order in a reasonable amount of time…30−45 minutes. Even during the summer, after 5:00 on a Saturday night.

Tahoma just cant get it right! I cant tell you how many owners have been in this location. It seems like there is a new one every year. The Pizza was ok, not the best and by far not the worst. Hope they can make it.

I find myself not reviewing a lot of places but I just have to give my two cents on this one. What a great service, the place was packed but the girls working the floor were really fast and attentive. Kelly took her of us and she had another girl(real young) helping out as well, I tried thanking her but every time I looked for her she was somewhere with a hand full of plates or an order. Way to go, keep it up. Finally caught up to her and thanked her. The pizza was really good, love the thin crust, we ordered the combo and the ingredients were really fresh. We will make it a point of coming back when we are back in the area.

We tried this place a year ago. The pizza was okay, but the girl that worked there was rude so we crossed it off our list. There’s a sign there now that says ‘Under New Ownership’ so we gave it another try… The new owners must be a family that dreamed of owning a pizza place, but has never run a pizza place(or restaurant) before. We asked our server about a few types of beers and got the«I don’t know, i’ve never tried it before» response. Not helpful. Then, she brings us our salads, but doesn’t give us anything to eat them with. She told us that she’d be right back with some utensils, but became sidetracked and went on to help other tables. Another woman there gave us utensils. A bit later, our pizzas came out. Our server told us that they were out of dinner plates and that we would have to use these tiny side-dish plates. The limp, thin crust pizza sagged over both sides of the tiny plate. Oh yeah– And since the server couldn’t tell us squat about the beers on tap, I ordered a Diet Coke. I got a dented can and a glass When the check came, I saw that we were charged $ 1.75(I think). AWFUL! Again, when you run a pizza joint, you get a contract with a beverage company that can sell you coke or pepsi in addition to give types of IPAs. I gave the place one star for the cool guy that worked there who wore a SF Giants cap. One star for the Giants. Otherwise, this place is AWFUL.

This is a JOINT! Pulled in right after zip lining near Homewood. Rustic bar style inside with cool vintage bicycles hung everywhere and my favorite… SHUFFLEBOARD. And my second favorite Gallaga! Food was killer. Calzones, pizza, and meatball sub. Sub was the bomb for a comfort food. Calzone they say on the menu the size of a bike helmet… FOR real. It was as long as my 21 year olds arm. DEFINITELY will visit for sure when I hit Tahoe again later this year.
