Blue Abaco Trading Company

I wish that by writing this, that everyone could see my actual frustration and disgust with this place.
I have frequented Blue Abaco for years and had mixed experiences every time I have gone. The experience I wrote about before was pleasant but my visit last night was so terrible that I will NOT return.
I received an email from Blue Abaco stating an event they were hosting November 30^th, where they would be open until 8:30 pm will everything 20% off (restrictions applied) and if you bring a friend you receive a free gift.
All excited a co-​worker and I went. We arrived about 7:45pm and thoroughly browsed the store. Several times my co-​worker would ask «do you carry hobo», or do you carry …” and the answer was always «I’m not sure, I’ll check. Well she never checked and we never received answers to her questions.
Upon arrival I handed the sales girl my Pandora bracelet and asked if she would throw it in the tumbler to clean it. considering Ive spend over $ 1000 on that bracelet there, I knew it wouldn’t be an issue. As my bracelet was cleaning, we walked next door to Beadz… an extension of blue abaco. As soon as we walked in the door, the sales lady looked at the other sales lady and said «aren’t we closed?» the other woman responded «ladies we close in 3 minutes, sorry». First things first, even if her statement was correct I would have still had 3 minutes to show… but the time was 5 til 8:00. My co-​worker asked «your email stated you were open until 8:30, is that not the case?» and the woman responded «oh well if the email said it then I guess we are, glad to know that I’m going to be working later than I thought without knowing. I guess this means yall can go ahead and browse». Disgusted with her attitude we walked out and back to blue abaco. I quickly found the lady who put my bracelet in the tumbler and asked her to bring it to me. considering it had been 10+ minutes, I knew it must be finished.
As the girl walks to the back to retrieve it, the woman from next door comes over and explains to what i can only imagine is her boss… that we (my co worker and I) misunderstood what she said and if we came back complaining it was just a misunderstanding.
At this point Im furious. Not to mention the little girl who went to get my bracelet from the back must have totally forget bc she was back there for another 10+ minutes before she walked out with no bracelet and saw me waiting and turned and walked back into the back and came out with my bracelet.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE ON ALL ACCOUNT.
and a side note the manage (Adrian or whatever) is very rude… not only to the customers but to the staff. you can tell that she is nice to the people who spend lots of money in there but she is not the least bit friendly to the average shopper.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Looking for a special small gift for someone we came here. What a great boutique filled with all kinds of great ideas. This boutique has three different rooms filled with jewelry, handbags, keychains, t-​shirts, etc… The jewelry is very pretty with some known local and other designers, but it comes at a good price. Great place to shop for any occasion though, Christmas gifts, Mother’s Day gifts, etc…
You are sure to find something for that special someone. They offer engraving as well as embroidery services and quick turn around. Also, they ask you f you would like your purchases gift wrapped at no extra charge. Very nice boutique, with such a great variety of items.
It is hard to find, but once you are there it is totally worth your visit. Nikki, was our sales girl and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable and super friendly.

I love Blue Abaco. Gifts include jewelry, engraveables, purses, and other accesories. There are items to fit EVERY budget, but everything is of the highest quality. I have received several items from Blue Abaco as gifts (a locket, and an embroidered key chain), and the work as always been lovely.
On my first visit to the store, I came in to purchase a proposal gift (like a ring, but different) for my now-​fiancé. Melissa helped me; she was very knowledgable about all of their merchandise, and even went online to help me pick the perfect quote to engrave in the compass I chose! The service was great — very friendly! I will be back for all of my bridesmaid gifts in the coming year!
