The attorneys of Fox & Loquasto, P.A., represent clients in the state and federal appellate courts of Florida. They have a general appellate practice, which includes civil, family, administrative, workers’ compensation, probate, and mortgage foreclosure defense work, as well as extraordinary writs, such as certiorari, prohibition, and mandamus. Fox & Loquasto also provides trial support by assisting trial attorneys with researching and preparing motions and legal memoranda in civil, personal injury, family, and administrative proceedings. The attorneys are also available to serve as experts for issues relating to appeals, including attorney-fee issues.
Attorneys Susan Fox and Wendy Loquasto are AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell and are board certified by The Florida Bar in appellate practice. Richard W. Ervin, III, a retired judge who served 30 years on the First District Court of Appeal, is of counsel with the firm.
History
Established in 2003.
Susan Whaley Fox and Wendy S. Loquasto formed Fox & Loquasto, P.A., in December 2003. The two women met through the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, of which they are both past presidents. They each brought their own unique training and experience to the firm. Susan worked for 26 years in private practice at Macfarlane Ferguson in Tampa, where she handled numerous appeals, while Wendy worked for 15 years as a law clerk at the First District Court of Appeal.
Susan managed the firm’s Tampa office until 2010, when she relocated and opened the firm’s office in Orlando. That office is located at 122 East Colonial Avenue, Suite 100, Orlando, Florida 32 801.
Wendy has been the managing partner for the firm’s Tallahassee office, located at 1201 Hays Street, Suite 100, Tallahassee, Florida 32 301.
Richard W. Ervin, III, became associated with the firm in an of counsel position in 2007, after working 30 years as a judge at the First District Court of Appeal.

Business Owner
Wendy Loquasto manages the firm’s Tallahassee office. Before founding Fox & Loquasto in 2003, she worked for 15 years at the First District Court of Appeal as a law clerk to Judge Richard W. Ervin, III.
Wendy is a member of the Florida Bar. She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia (inactive).
She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1988. She has a B.A. in History and Political Science from the State University of New York, College at Oswego.
Wendy is Vice Chair of The Florida Bar Appellate Court Rules Committee and is a member of the Bar’s Appellate Practice and Workers’ Compensation Sections. She is a former president of Tallahassee Women Lawyers and Florida Association for Women Lawyers, as well as Legal Services of North Florida, Inc., and the North Florida Center for Equal Justice, Inc. She serves on the Board of Overseers for Stetson College of Law.
Wendy is originally from the Rochester, New York, area.
