History

Established in 1985.

Harvest Printing & Copy Center, Inc. began operation in 1985 on a $ 10,000 loan, a used printing press from owner Miguel Jiménez’s father in Miami and a desire to provide a needed service to the community and a good place for people to work. Since then he, and co-​owner/​wife Terry Jiménez, have built a million-​dollar +/​-​business. They have filled a niche for customers with printing jobs too complicated for quick print/​copy centers, but who need a fast turnaround time or a small quantity that can’t be provided by big-​volume printers.

«We’re a full-​service quick printer,» according to Miguel. «It has worked for us.»

In May of 1999, Harvest Printing moved into a 8,500 square foot building at 1613 Capital Circle NE. It nearly quadrupled the amount of space the business had started in. This, our current location, has been great for exposure and walk-​in business.

Miguel came to the United States without his parents as part of Operation Pedro Pan — a program which airlifted children out of Cuba.
