iDope Customs Tallahassee – iPhone and iPad Repair

Went to the iDope place in Philadelphia to take my prehistoric iPod classic to get my busted headphone jack fixed. I was then told that the cost of getting it fixed wasn’t worth it. After looking up the cost of repair vs fixing, which was nearly 3 times the amount to buy a new one, I decided to mail in my iPod to their Tallahassee store. It took about 30 days from the time I mailed it out to when it was returned to me.
I do wish I was informed that they received my device instead of emailing them a week later to find out whether they have it or not. Besides that, every time they contacted me with questions or updates, they were very prompt and professional. I just wish the initial lines of communication were much smoother and I wish that it took a little less time than a month for my issue to be solved.

Very disappointed with service here. Initially I was very pleased with the replacement work done on my iPhone screen. However, couple of months after the screen was replaced it began to crack after minimal ware. The crack got worse and eventually the integrity of the whole screen was compromised. Be wary if you need a screen replaced.

Frustrated. I called to check on the time it would take to repair my iphone 4s, asking specifically if they were busy or back logged. I was told an hour tops and to come on in. I drove the 30 minutes there and hear the girl answering the phone saying it is a 15 minute-​1 hour wait for repairs. Awesome. The 4s is an old phone so they are moving the parts out at a discount. My front cover, back cover and home button were still charged at $ 80, very, very steep. I was told they were all half off… yet have no idea where that discount went. I left my phone and was told an hour. It was 3:11pm. I walked out with my phone after 6pm… I know it’s a convenience that I am paying for and I am grateful for the repair. I am NOT grateful for the poor customer service and the blatant lying. If things were taking awhile today they should tell people that. They should also offer a discount for taking 3 times the promised time. I still paid the full price and regret this being my first experience with this company. I never write reviews. But this was too much. Upon getting my phone back I noticed the back was lose and had to send it back. I inquired about the coverage on it and was told, «yea, you can bring it in…» «huh? I can bring it in for what? And for how long after purchase is it covered?» «Oh any time, just not if you drop it… that’s on you…» What? This is the incompetence they have manning the front of the store? Appalling face to a company.
Update: At almost exactly the one month mark my screen cracked. Something on my desk tipped over on it and what shouldn’t of been a shatter very much was. The worst part is that the glass is clearly basement quality and slivers of it went all over unlike Apple glass. The phone was usable shattered before because of this yet now is dangerous to put near you… wonderful! We can guess that I will NOT be getting it repaired through idope. I’d rather drive to the next state if I have to.

I went in to get my a new screen for my iPhone 5s and I was able to purchase a used screen at a discounted price. The screen only had one scratch but looked good as new! They also fixed it within a few hours and the employee was very helpful.

iDope has knowledgable technicians who explained the process of fixing my phone with great clarity and expertise. The employees are friendly and tried their best to get my phone back to me as soon as possible. I would go back to fix my phone here. Plus, they have a great selection of phone cases.

Worst customer service. After 3 days of my phone being in the store, I called and They told me my phone would be done in 30 minutes so I came and continued to wait an extra 30 minutes for the phone to be done and then 15 minutes for them to check me out while I was the only one in the store.

They were very helpful and figured out my problem immediately without trying to trick me into spending extra $ on repairs or insurance like some of the competitors. Very satisfied with my purchase and would return here if I have any other problems with my phone.

iDope is always a pleasure to walk into! I’ve fixed my phone there multiple times and it always surprises me the variety available to choose from. One quickly becomes addicted to «doping» out your phone. Prices are reasonable and the workers are always overly friendly! Also, the store never fails to smell awesome. I truly recommend iDope to anybody with a broken apple device!
