Business Owner

Kurt trained as a Clinical Social Worker and owns a Florida private practice where he is licensed to assess, diagnose and treat mental illness. His graduate degree was obtained from Florida State University (Tallahassee) and his BA from Union Institute and University (Cincinnati). Kurt’s professional biography includes work in numerous tasks in the social services sector. Mr. LaRose worked along-​side his wife in a residential group home assisting abused children, and later hosted youth in a treatment foster home. Kurt was an Adjunct Professor with Thomas University (Southeast Georgia), teaching courses in the discipline of social work. LaRose has worked with homeless populations and basic needs provision for people living in poverty. He has experience in developing and implementing mental health programs in underserved communities — schools and agencies. Program implementation services have been utilized by counseling programs outside of the US. LaRose is a published author.
