This is by far the best publix i have been to. The parking sucks but once you enter the place it is nothing but smiles. The lady even offered to help take my bags to the car! I couldnt find the bread aisle and an employee saw me searching and politely walked up and asked if he could help me find something. He then showed me right where the bread was and told me if i needed anything else just call! I will be back every week. I have found my permanent grocery store

I’m so biased to this Publix, going here for four years has spoiled me greatly. Not only is this the Publix that famous Jameis got caught at, it’s the Publix that was named best place to meet someone by Playboy! Whenever you come here know that there will always be good looking guys and girls trying to shop and mingle. This Publix is always busy and bustling especially during the weekends and during tailgate season. Some of my favorite associates are David, Kaycee, Omar, and Lucy! They’re always ready to help and make your visit as positive as possible. Only gripe I have is with the parking plaza. It makes parking tough and can drive you crazy.

Love publix in general. Did not love spending 45 minutes in line for a sub with only 5 people in front of me and 2 employees working. Never an experience I have with the publix back home.

Standard fare, nothing special. Always a little on the crowded, specially in the afternoons and weekends. Parking is nutty here though. Since it’s right across a student housing complex, that intersection can get congested and traffic backed up going south in on Ocala. It’s nestled amongst such others as Panera, Plato’s Closet, GNC, and more PLUS right next to a Walgreens… all in all kinda a bad combination if you don’t like crowds or get nervous parking. Not bike friendly but friendly staff. Special orders from deli and bakery are prompt and in order. Like I said, run of the mill chain.

Famous as THE place to meet a lovely co-ed and start a new FSU relationship, Publix will fulfill all your other needs. The selection, as usual amongst all the others, is spectacular and you can always trust the freshness of the produce, which is ever suspect at the local Walmart. I stop in here if I’m looking for international items or if the quality of whatever I need for the recipe is super important. Yet, due to its closeness to campus, the aisles are generally overcrowded and it feels like you’ve spent an eternity after every visit. In addition, unless you order online, you will spend over half of your time here at the deli counter, waiting in line just to get a pound of salami. As such, be prepared for everything to take longer than expected if you plan to stop by this Publix, but receive the fresh food you also expect in return.

I’ve seen Nightclubs in town get less traffic. But it is filled with a friendly staff, and great for people watching. This location has an Asian Food hot bar, a sushi bar, and a sub station. It also has a wide selection of prepared produce. Honestly this store is a college student’s dream. Beer, food, snacks, quick meals. Toss in a good pharmacy and I can see why people frequent it. That being said I prefer Lake Ella or even the Thomasville Road location.

Let’s not forget that this Publix location, aka Club Pub, was nationally ranked in Playboy Magazine as one of the top ten places to meet someone. (Let’s take a moment to digest this phenomenon) Moving on, this is your run-of-the-mill Publix. Taking into consideration what I mentioned earlier, this place gets packed. Especially Sunday nights. Which, of course, by coincidence, was when I happened to go last. The standard BOGO deals are generally in tact and the produce seems relatively fresh. But I’d much rather shop at the Lake Ella, Governor’s Crossing or Mahan Village location. The frat/sorority life was never my thing in college. The older I get, the less patience I have for gold watches, formal t-shirts and bro hugs. I wish I was exaggerating, but sometimes the shoppers get in the way of shopping. Call me crazy, but I shop for groceries, not a random hook up. You’ve now been warned.

The Publix made famous by Famous himself! Take a trip down memory lane by visiting the seafood department and retrace those infamous steps. ;) This is a massively sized Publix — I suspect tipping the square footage scales at the 60,000 mark. At times, one gets the sense that the entire FSU, FAM’ &TCC student body is in here. Nonetheless, the store is generally«Publix-clean» and seldom feels understaffed. Good wine/cheese selection, expectedly stocked sushi/sashimi section. «Ethnic aisle» more diverse than your basic Publix, which goes to follow given the colleges in town. This one and Lake Ella are my favorites in Tallahassee. For a similar-sized, yet sterile Publix experience — venture to Thomasville/I-10.

Club pub. Everyone goes here(Some even dress up to go here). I always go here to buy meat and seafood. I just wish the seafood selection had a bigger and larger selection.

This is Club Pub. The only grocery store I know of that people seem to get dressed up to go to lmao

This Publix has pretty much everything you could need as a college student and is in a really convenient location. The people who work here are generally friendly and helpful, and most things are easy to find. it’s easy to go in the middle of the day when they are not as busy.

Great supermarket and friendly service! Pretty has everything you need, want, and can ask for in a supermarket. So what sets it apart from your Pathmarks, Walmarts, Winn Dixies, etc., is the service. Cashiers are super friendly and ask for help in any of the aisles and they help you on the spot.

Club Publix is a pleasure almost every time. Besides the convince of having one in every neighborhood, I especially like the nice attendants that go around asking if you need anything with a nice smile. Rarely do I leave this store without exactly what I want. Only downside would be their wine collection, but because of location I understand it’s limitations. Produce is the best of any other grocery store. Lastly, checkout is fairly quick. No matter the time of day or the length of lines, checkout is fast.

Shopping is definitely a pleasure at this Publix. I come here whenever I need grocery, as does nearly every student from the surrounding universities. And that has to be one of the major drawbacks to this particular location. This Publix had been appropriately dubbed«Club Pub» and is the only Publix where I’ve ever been hit on while I’m at the deli or deciding what cereal I want. I don’t understand what it is, but sometimes if I’m just not in the mood to deal with the crowds, I’ll go to the one on Park Street, which is less crowded and has a more suburban atmosphere. That said, it’s most crowded between noon and 10PM but more reasonable anytime before or after that. The produce section is excellent, and always has fresh fruit and veggies, and the Greenwise selection is significantly better than at most Publix I’ve been to. However, I’ve recently fallen in love with Chobani Greek yogurt, and to my dismay, have yet to see it at this Publix location. They have them at the Publix in the surrounding areas, but not this one for some reason. I find it very strange and disappointing. The place is always clean, the parking lot is never overrun with carts and the staff are polite and helpful when you can’t seem to find what you’re looking for. The check out lines are usually all pretty long, but surprisingly quick for how many people are coming and going.

Really big publix, Has a huge sub station & decent deli. Even has a Chinese buffet section. Even with all the customers this place brings in, check-out is a breeze. They have so many people working here and 6 self check out stations. I gave this place a 4⁄5 is because sometimes they wont have what I’m looking for.

Huge greenwise store located right next door to my daughter’s apartment. Went to grab a few items and I was pleasantly surprised. This store is huge with so much to offer. Great bakery section, nice deli, very large produce section, and a hot and cold bar with fresh Chinese food. How cool is that. The store was very clean, organized, well stocked, and just a great shopping experience. The wine section was nicely displayed with some good choices. Mixers, cocktail accessories, they had a great variety. So glad my daughter has this great store so close. Service was good, no complaints. Another thing I noticed was how bright the store is. Very large bright lights throughout, which made it very easy to find products. The produce selection was so fresh and well merchandised. Prices were average. Very nice store in the area.

Ran here last night to pick up some mixers. I come here often since its right next to my apartment. its a very clean location. The workers are all nice. They are mostly college kids. I always run into people there since its the closest Publix to campus. Not top notch service of course, but decent. Acceptable for where it is. Of course I will be back.
