Don’t stay here if you want a peaceful sleep and to be treated with kindness and respectably the staff. Awful hotel and way overpriced to boot!

Very nice clean hotel. We stayed 2 night. Friendly stuff. But bed sucks. Very uncomfortable every time my husband turn around I woke up because mattress. Otherwise good hotel

This is the 1^st review I have ever written, this place is very nice and CHEAP! I would definitely stay here again, we booked last minute and had no problems. The room we had was actually 2 separate rooms, living, bedroom. Well appointed and I’m quite picky, so I was very pleased. If you need a place to stay in Tallahassee, you won’t be disappointed!

We only needed a place for one night as we drove west. Unilocal didn’t have any reviews, but this hotel had a very good rating on Trip Advisor. Overall, I’m glad we stayed here. The price was one of the lowest I found in the area. The room was worn, but very clean. Perfect size for the four of us; the two kids slept in the living room area. The employees were are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was even good (you can’t expect cage free eggs and organic fruit.)
I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and truly up to date. It’s like home away from home. Nice! This is where we’ll be staying for trips to Tallahassee. I’m glad we found it. Prices are fare.

We stayed there as part of a block of rooms for a wedding reception. First we had trouble booking the room because the front desk transferred us to a national reservations line that couldn’t access the information for the reserved block. When we were finally able to reserve a room, the room that was described to us was not the room we got. Customer service is absolutely NOT a priority for them. Several times when my call was supposed to be transferred to someone else, I ended up getting a voicemail message, not a live person. When I asked to speak to a manager, the same thing happened, so I left a detailed message and asked to be called back. I never heard from him at all. Clearly they don’t care. When I left a message in the sales office after finding out that the room I booked was not what was described to me, the person who called me back was very nasty and angry with me. I told her I was the disappointed customer and didn’t understand what she was angry about. ZERO customer service skills. If I ever treated a customer like that, I would be fired.

I stayed here this past weekend and aboslutely loved it. The room was much bigger than I expected, with the two queen beds separated from the couch and sitting area. A small, but still full sized fridge and microwave in the kitchen, and a little breakfast bar. Everything was clean and new, nothing felt dated.
The lobby was spacious, with a fireplace and self serve coffee at all hours. Breakfast was buffett style and also very good. The outdoor patio is beautiful and over looks a lake, on which guest can fish! (Catch and release only though). A little commissary (they called it the Pantry) sold different snack items and other commodities (Tylenol, tums).
I’ll definitely stay here again when returning to Tallahassee and look forward to staying at a Staybridge in Orlando soon.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites for three nights during my daughter’s college orientation in Tallahassee. We arrived after 10 p.m. after a long drive from the Key West, Florida road weary and ready for bed. Since this was our first stay at a Staybridge property we weren’t sure of what to expect. The night staff pleasantly greeted us upon arrival and quickly checked us in. The hotel lobby was immaculate and we were more than satisfied with our room. Our suite was spacious, clean and well kept. Each staff member we encountered during our entire stay was courteous and extremely pleasant. The property is well maintained with a beautiful lake. They even provide fishing rods for visiting anglers. During breakfast the dining area was spotless with staff quickly cleaning tables, wiping down counters and resupplying the buffet. One of the dining room staff was gracious enough to talk us through the waffle making process and made us feel at home each morning. (I wish I could have gotten his name). What a wonderful property, but the stars of this show is the staff. We checked out on Thursday morning and headed to Alabama for a few days. Friday afternoon while shopping, my wife realized her wallet was missing. It contained credit cards, her driver’s license and her military ID. We immediately cancelled all of her cards. After a lot of mental back tracking we last recalled her having it in our hotel room before we checked out. My wife called and asked if her wallet had been found, it had not. She was told to call back Saturday morning when the housekeeping supervisor would be back at work. Upon calling Saturday we found out the housekeeping supervisor (Terry) had my wife’s wallet! We informed management we were coming back through Tallahassee on our way back to Key West and they kept the wallet under lock and key for us. We returned to Staybridge Suites to retrieve the wallet and found every thing still in it! What a great end to and wonder stay. Staybridge, keep up the good work. A lot of other properties could learn from your customer service. Your staff members are rock stars! Because our daughter will be calling Tallahassee home for the next 4 years, Staybridge will be our second home when we come to visit. Keep our room ready!

Our travel to Tallahassee was due to a death in the family. Our choice of the Staybridge Suites honestly was due to our original choice was sold out and they were pet friendly. We were oh so pleasantly surprised from its location to the professional and helpful staff to the suite we were assigned. The property is located in a very quiet area away from commercial activity. The grounds are well kept as is the hotel itself from the lobby to the suites. We found our suite to be well appointed with everything working, toiletries in the bathroom, clean linens, and accessibility in and out exceptional with my disability. We did not partake of the hot breakfast or early evening dining included but both looked wonderful when seen. I must mention the suite was very quiet too. The only slight complaint for us would be a soft bed because we have bad backs. I would not hesitate to stay here again when traveling to this area of the country.

What a wonderful surprise! I went on priceline, as I always do and this was the gem I came across. Easy to find, staff incredibly friendly. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Parking lot very well lit. Everything was included! Wifi, breakfast, Ipod docking station on the alarm clock, the granite countertops and custom tile backsplash, Midsize fridge, comfortable bed QUEEN! I am a HUGE FAN now! Evening manager specials, a small convienant store connected to front desk, complimentary popcorn. I really could go on and on, but rarely am I suprised at things of this nature. I am well traveled etc… and I would stay here over many of the ⁴⁄₅ stars I have been to. You pay that outrageous price and still have to pay for breakfast, wifi etc…

This was our first time staying at a Staybridge Suites, but the previous reviews convinced us that it was worth the risk. As we pulled off the Interstate, we found the location easily enough, just as the rain started to come down.
We were welcomed into the Staybridge Suites, and found the room even better than the lobby. I don’t know if every suite is as nice as the one we had, but we greatly enjoyed our separate room from the kids — as opposed to some places that advertise a «suite» as a curtain separating two beds.
To make things even nicer, they included a thin client at the workstation. Now I’m not the type who usually uses a computer provided by anyone, no matter who they are — but for kids, it’s great — they can use that one while I use my laptop, and then we don’t have to fight over it. Most excellent.
The only downside was the rain. It just poured the whole time. They even lost power briefly, which meant that the computer and televisions were out. But you can scarcely blame that on the hotel.

Great hotel, clean, quiet. We had a wonderful stay without any trouble. The hotel includes breakfast, so its a great value if you’re travelling.
