Tan Shadows is an independent locally owned tanning salon for over 15 years. We specialize in indoor tanning, Versa Spa and Custom Airbrush spray tans. We offer our exclusive custom bronzing solution and primer with every spray tan. Our Custom Airbrush Spray Tans are by appointment only. Our Spray tans always include a Primer, Bronzer, Moisturizer and Vitamin D-​3 for 1 price. All three steps are essential to achieving a beautiful spray tan. We have 4 levels of Ergoline tanning beds and large selection of tanning lotions at great prices. We offer single visits, 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month and we don’t sell by the minute.

We are Smart Tan certified and are happy to assist you with your tanning needs. At Tan Shadows we don’t have sign up fees or require contracts. We have tanning and spray packages that will fit your needs. Need a gift for a special someone? A Tan Shadows gift card is great for any occasion! Tan Shadows was established to provide our customers with the best tanning experience possible. We have installed new tanning beds, Versa Spa spray tans and Custom Airbrush Spray tans.

Being a small business owner is challenging to say the least. I enjoy this business but I’m not the typical owner… I’m on site many days working and assisting our customers. I enjoy getting to know them and helping with their tanning needs. I am proud that Tan Shadows is the Official Sponsor for the FSU Golden Girls and Cheerleaders for the 2nd straight year! I enjoy working with our young adults.

Hands down the best tanning salon in Tallahassee. Mrs Lynn, the owner, is super friendly and helped pick out the best tanning lotion for me. Usually places just want you to buy one of the most expensive ones. She also gave me a tour and showed me how everything works without me asking. She genuinely wants you to have the optimum tanning experience. The fact that there is no contract or membership fee is a plus too! I highly recommend Tan Shadows.

I am Honduran and I never once imagined using a tanning bed to keep up my natural tan complexion. Moving from Miami to Tally affected my skin tone significantly but my first visit to Tan Shadows changed my life! The minute I walked in the girls made me feel so welcomed and guided me through their different packages they offered. They also recommended the best tanning lotions and explained why it’s important to hydrate your skin before tanning. They really are The Bomb .com especially the owner, Mrs. Lynn, she will guarantee you get the best service ever! Plus she sells really cute jewelry for game days. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Living in Tallahassee makes it quite hard to keep up with appearances. At home in Miami, I have my perfect little tanning salon. They know me and are oh so friendly.
Coming up to school, it is always difficult to keep tan, especially in the winters up here. So one day I drove all over Tallahassee looking for the best tanning salon. and look what I found!
This place is about a mile from my house. They are incredibly friendly, and genuine. This isnt very normal since all the employees at these places are young, female, college students…
The salon is VERY clean and they have numerous beds. There is one stand up which is a super bed, about 6 lower level beds, and 3 super beds. They also do the versa spa spray tans.
Their prices are reasonable. They have gone up a little but that was due to the tax put on tanning. They just decided to add it in.
Since I go on such a regular basis now, they know my name, know which bed I like, know where my bag of lotion is. Oh how nice it is! I have never had a bad experience here. They are always putting out coupons and specials and even members can use them!
One word of advice, plan for when you go. Tallahassee is a small town with a lot of girls who like to tan especially around key times like before SPRING BREAK HEYYYYYYYYYY.
It is best to go right when they open or mid-​day. They get busy in the afternoons when people are out of class and there is sometimes a wait.
They have my business while I am still here!

My daughter wanted to tan and she has a package at this salon. There are many tanning salons in this city but most are either way overpriced or really old ancient beds. Or better yet the service is rude! Not this place, we walked in and two very lovely young ladies were working and they were so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with their knowledge and the cleanliness of the salon, I opted to do a quick tan to try out their beds.
I did the level four bed, twelve minutes and it was very good. Spritzers, facial tanners, nice fans built in, stereo where you can plug your i-​phone in. They have four different level beds with different pricing for each. The pricing is not bad for their packages. Salon is spotless clean, which is a huge bonus for me. They have lotions for purchase and their prices were not bad at all. Good selection of many different types to choose from.
This is the place to go when you need to get a nice bronzed body. The service does not get much better than this. Sweet, attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly service. Ladies great job, now this is what Customer Service should be. See you on my next visit.
