I am a 21 year old woman who just moved to Tallahassee and I was in a car wreck two weeks ago. State Farm suggested I use University Collision Center as they are supposedly #1 in Tallahassee. They certainly fixed my car quickly but their customer service (See: front desk) is abysmal so don’t expect even a smile out of her.
Unfortunately, they called me on Friday at 3pm to pressure me into picking my car up because they finished a week early and threatened me with my insurance company if I couldn’t get back in town by then. Very stressed, I called State Farm and was sure to get them to pay for my rental through the weekend but when I came to pick my car up on Monday (today) they weren’t even done! They had to send someone to my house to pinstripe my car for me and that was when I realized there was grit in my paint job! So I went back to the shop and they assured me it could be buffed out and lo and behold 45 minutes later there are still spots in my paint job. No worries, I thought to myself, I’ll speak to the owner. Who proceeded to YELL at me outside of his shop because since *I* had wrecked my car multiple times this was the best paint job they could offer. I have never wrecked my car, I am a fabulous driver. The people who work here are abhorrent. Their behavior and obvious sexism is disgusting and I will never use them again — no one even apologized for me having to come back to the shop!
