We opened our doors in 2008 after I spent 18 months with a firm I founded here in Tallahassee, Florida. Prior to opening my own business, I spent three years working for Cobb Cole in Daytona Beach, Florida and the Office of the State Attorney in Volusia County, Florida.

Business Owner

I graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 2003. I spent the first couple of years practicing with Cobb Cole in Daytona Beach, Florida. After realizing that type of work was not for me, I became an Assistant State Attorney in Deland, Florida. In 2006, shortly after my daughter was born, I returned to Tallahassee and opened a firm. I focused my practice on criminal defense and family law. In 2008, I decided to venture out on my own and opened Joshua D. Zelman, P.A.
