These guys are the best! I moved to Tampa two years ago, and I know nothing about cars, or where I should take mine. Saw this place near by, and just went for it! Great guys with great customer service. They are very honest and really do great work. Just picked up my car today after another great service.

I’m so thankful to have these guys in my neighborhood. They have made large repairs and basic oil changes and always suggest ways to save money (like reminding me when problems might still be under warranty). They offer a shuttle for people in the neighborhood and the owner even knows I have a baby so he goes out of his way to pick up/​drop off my car so I don’t have to transfer the car seat. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had a screw in my tire and needed it fixed, so after seeing the positive reviews I decided to give this place a try. Tony is a super friendly guy, and after looking at my tire he took the time to explain why it could not be patched safely and instead needed replaced. Tony drove immediately to pick one up, and had me out of the shop in about 1 hour! All for a reasonable price.
Everyone was friendly and professional. Great service! There is also a nice bakery around the corner where you can grab a coffee or bite while you wait.

I just happened by this place on the way to a gas station to fill a low tire. At the gas station I found a screw stuck in my tire. I headed back and was able to get my tire patched quickly, correctly, and for a great price. I would definitely recommend them. I was also telling a coworker about them and she goes there as well. It’s a little off the beaten path from downtown businesses but she said that they will bring you to your office.

We moved to Tampa about 3 years ago. I have been taking a 2013 Audi and a 2009 corolla to A&D since we moved here, originally because i lived in the area. Now that we have moved i still make the drive here. I don’t expect them to be the cheapest in Tampa, but prices seem fair so far. We feel that we are being treated honestly and with respect, they are good business people providing good service and customer care plain and simple. So far we have been very happy and we will keep going here until they give us a reason not to. I would recommend anyone to bring there car here

New to Tampa and was very pleased with the honesty and results of A&D Automotive Center
Tire Problem fixed correctly!
We had previously taken our tire to another repair center who couldn’t get the job done with a tire patch. A week later we were still having the same problem Low Tire Pressure!
So I checked out the reviews here and found A&D. Upon arrival, my husband was told that the previous work done to our tire was a poor in quality (true story) and he was going to fully patch the inside of our tire and fix it correctly!!! Thank goodness! Spotted in another tire was a nail! So we were now planning to pay for two tire repairs. We live close by so we left the car there and came back 1.5 hrs later to pick it up. After the work was complete we were told the nail in the second tire didnt actually damage the tire so we lucked out and there was no charge for that one! Awesome and Honest right there!!!

I would love if the owner or a manager would give me a call. I have called twice and no answer today. I went yesterday (after a friend’s recommendation) to get my oil changed, tires rotated, etc. I called them and the guy said they were very busy but he could get it done for me and just to drop my car off. Well, after I hung up with him I made the ten minute drive there and went in to the office (where no one came to acknowledge my presence for 5 minutes). After someone finally comes to ask me «what I need» I said I just called about dropping my car off. He then tells me he «can’t do it, they’re way too busy». I told him I just called 15 minutes earlier and they said they could take care of it. He didn’t even apologize and just said «Can you bring it back in the morning?». NO, BRAH, CAN’T AND WON’T BE PAYING YOU GOOD MONEY TO GET MY OIL CHANGED EVER.

Extremely trustworthy (they will tell you not if you ask them to do something that they think unnecessary, as opposed to many outfits to spend money to do something that is unnecessary), super professional, totally customer oriented. We have been there for years, and just today they fixed one of our cars’ bumper for free.

Honesty. Is all I wish in a mechanic. It is not about cheap but more about honest diagnosis and fair pricing. If you hate the feeling of being robbed at the mechanic like I do, this is the place to take your car. I have a BMW and a Jeep, had a Lexus and Tony have worked on all of them at some point. Why taking the car to a dealer to give your money away when this place is available?

I recently moved to Tampa and of course, my car’s AC goes out. I was also having issues with my break lights, horn and power steering not working as well. It all just happened at once. «When it rain, it pours!» I have to say, these guys were a ray of sunshine! First, they were friendly. I’m always a little uncomfortable going into mechanic shops bc I’m not the most masculine guy (haha!) but these guys were just so welcoming. Told them my issues, left my car and got a call with the diagnosis within an hour! They just changed out a fuse (which I tried and that didn’t work?!?) haha! And then the AC is going to cost me a substantial amount of money, so I have to wait to get that repaired. They were very honest about everything and I didn’t feel pressured about the getting/​not getting the repairs done. I’m definitely going back for all my car care needs! They even offered pizza to a guy with a baby while he was waiting! Haha! All around great guys!

Honest, honest, honest. I will not take my car anywhere else in town. I trust Tony & Lou unconditionally. There have been so many instances where I could have been charged for something and was not. They encourage you to take something to the dealer if it is still under warranty. They find lower cost alternatives. They kept an old 93 3000GT running for years when i could have had everything replaced on it. By far one of my favorite businesses in Tampa. You guys are AWESOME. Thank you for everything!!!

Always honest, always fast, always willing to give you a ride or stick around so you can pick up your car late. Started going to to Tony when he worked at another business back in 1998 and stuck with him over the years. They do it right the first time and are more than willing to tell you when NOT to get work done (a old pt cruiser with a cracked head, A&D cleaned it up and I traded it for a newer Honda. Tony has advised me on buying a car («Dude,» he told me, «if you buy that car you and I will get to know one another a lot better because you will always be in here.») and the guys there are even fun to talk with while you are waiting on your car.

I LOVE A&D! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else! I have always gotten the help, service and honesty I need from them. They always make sure to offer me the lowest quote and make sure only to provide services that are needed. They let you know about diagnostic fees up front, but if they can find the problem without the computers, they’re never going to charge you an extra cent. This is one of the best run businesses in town. I wish they could help me with more than just my car!

I started going to A & D back in 2008 when my old bedroom door was 60 feet away at Seaport Channelside.
It’s a rare occasion when you can take your car in for a-​fixin’ without feeling like you’re getting taken for a ride. A RIDE, get it?
One of the first times I visited, I had two problems: my window wouldn’t open and my trunk wouldn’t close. They fixed both, but only charged me for the window and hooked me up with my trunk.
The only thing they couldn’t figure out seemed to be a huge mystery to everyone. At one point, my car would slide when I’d have to brake hard. It was like trying to drive on ice and was really… REALLY scary when I ended up getting turned around on 275. Yes, facing on-​coming traffic.
I took it to A&D, where I spent about $ 500 and thought I was in the clear. Unfortunately, it happened AGAIN on I-​4. Luckily, both times no one was hurt, but they were the most frightening things to ever happen to me.
So for three times a week over the next month or so, I would drive to A&D in the morning, they would drop me off at work and then pick me up at the end of the day. Unfortunately, every day would go by and the problem was never solved. I took it to a couple of other places and did tons of research online, but I think I was the first person on Earth to have this problem! I don’t fault A&D for not being able to fix it, because no one else seemed to know anything about it.
I will continue to use A&D for any of my auto needs. But hopefully I don’t have to see them for a long time since being forced to get rid of my devil possessed car!

Trustworthy and reputable. They have performed a few services for us in the past on vehicles that didn’t have free maintenance plans with the dealerships. Reasonable prices and good customer service. They even gave my wife a ride home after dropping her car off for an oil change (and we literally live right around the block… about a 2 minute walk).
The convincing factor for me is when the bumper on our Audi had a minor problem. I took it by to see if they could help out as we were getting ready for our wedding in NY the next week, and we would then be on our honeymoon for 2 weeks. Not only did they help, but they spent about 2 hours of their time fixing the issue and didn’t charge me a dime.
