David B.
Business Owner
Ever since David Balber was a child, he felt that he was destined to become an architect. It was the perfect marriage of his love for the arts mixed with his fascination with science and mathematics. When he was in the first grade his art teacher told his parents that he had an extraordinary artistic talent and she entered a still life that he created into a competition. The piece won first place and he was competing against college-level artists. He was given a full scholarship to the highly prestigious Columbus College of Art and Design’s summer art program. As an accomplished musician he believes in the spiritual power of architecture to lift the human spirit. He feels that there is a synergy that exists in architecture that is analogous to what one might find in a symphonic poem; meaning the sum of the parts that makes up a building is meant to tell a story as a group of instruments come together to tell a story… yet without words.
