Best Termite & Pest Control Inc

My fiancé and I hired Best to perform the termite inspection of the home he purchased for the loan.
The inspection was completed in March, and we were give a clean bill of health and told we had no termites or termite damage. We based our decision to purchase the home and the amount negotiated with the bank (it was a foreclosed home) on the results of this inspection.
In May, three weeks after closing, I noticed a large bubble in the paint at the bottom of our front door jam. I poked the bubble and a ton of droppings poured out.
As the area damaged by the termites seemed much too large to have appeared since the inspection, we contacted Best to inspect again, hoping they would determine they’d made a mistake and help correct the situation.
Unfortunately, Best told us the damage was new and was not there at the time of the March inspection, and there was nothing they would do. With the exception of performing remediation at full price.
As we were skeptical, we contacted another termite company who inspected and advised that the damage was certainly there at the time of the inspection, and that the area damaged should have been the very first place they should check for termites.
Best’s deficient termite inspection has cost us thousands of dollars and they’ve refused to help, or at the very least, refund their fee for the failed inspection.
TL;DR Hired Best to perform our termite inspection when purchasing our home. Gave us a clean bill of health. 2 months later we have significant termite damage that should have been found during the inspection. Best refused to make amends for its error.

We chose this best control based on all the great reviews and from a friends rave reviews! Today was our first appointment and I am so pleased with the service we received! Our guy spent over a hour outside spraying for ants and other pests, still has the inside to do! He was is being so thorough !! Took the time to answer my questions and go over concerns I had! I have to add that we signed up for a yearly service and it is half the price of what I was quoted from the major companies! I will update this review in a month or two!

Worked with them several times, including a 1-​year termite contract. It was great up till then. Earnie — the manager — charged my card earlier than the contract stated, resulting in my bouncing several checks. They would not compensate me anything.
Still thinking about filing a fraud complaint with the bank and FTC.
And the worst part is that they did not give me the routine checkups they promised at the time of sale.

Manny came out to treat our home and was great. Arrived on-​time, was very knowledgeable, explained everything to us and took the time to answer our questions and was very honest with us.
The prices are also very reasonable.

Their name says it all.
I’ve had Best Termite and Pest Control into my old wooden bungalow a few times during my ten years of owning this house, and they have never been anything but awesome — punctual, thorough, honest, affordable, and fair.
During my recent battle with horrible little German cockroaches, Sean went above and beyond in ensuring that they WENT AWAY. That dude even disposed of a dead rodent that he found while treating my house… Sean is a rockstar.
The office staff are fantastic as well. Every call is handled with complete urgency and friendly professionalism.
I hope to never use anyone else!

The joys of owning a home mean that you have to deal with bugs. I had a lot of bugs around when I moved in. Then I called Best Termite, and now I have rarely see bugs.
I pay them about $ 55 every other month to basically be bug-​free. The Daddy Long Legs are pesky and don’t ever really go away, but everything else is gone-​zo.
One time, ants were getting into my cat’s food, so I called them to say I couldn’t wait for my regular service. They were out the next day, and the ants are as dead as dead gets. Dead.
Usually writing a Unilocal review makes me hungry from all the awesome talk about food. I’m hungry now, so I guess I’m just fat.

I had to post an update/​followup because Best Pest control went ABOVE and beyond when a «mouse» got into our house. They made multiple visits, checking up on the progress of the whole ordeal, setting traps, sealing openings, and cleaning up any messes left behind. We were really impressed with their service and handling of the situation, even responding to after hours «emergency» calls from a crying, hysterical homeowner who shall not be named. Thank you Best Pest Control! We are happy customers 2 years and going strong!

I absolutely love Best Termite & Pest Control. When I bought a house, I knew this was one of the first things I needed– as cock roaches are my worst fears!
Best Pest Control was a great deal! Somewhere around $ 300ish for a year of service– which included 2 thorough indoor/​outdoor treatments and a full outdoor treatment every other month. Their theory? Treat the outside well enough so that bugs never get inside.
The service was easy to sign up for and schedule my first treatment. You can log on to their website to view the subsequent appointment dates (though you do not need to be home since it’s just the outdoor one). Mike was assigned to my house as my pest control tech– and he is awesome!
The best (pun intended) part of this service is that at any point if you discover bugs– in or out– you just call them and they send your tech out right away! I’ve called 3 times (once for a roach sighting, twice for wasp nests outside), and all 3 times Mike has shown up within a couple hours to treat the issue.
I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely be renewing my contract next year!

I would give ten stars if I could, Best Pest Control is the knight in shining bug killin’ armor.
We have been receiving service now for about two years after moving into an old bungalow in Seminole Heights. We knew our termite situation would need some attention regularly (it had been treated previously and there were no live termites but we wanted it regularly serviced). We have bimonthly service and the rate was the most reasonable of the three we were quoted. Our service guy’s report also won us over, he was just the bee’s knees (I’m cracking myself up with these amazing bug jokes over here).
We were also having some serious brown widow issues which is NOT OKAY NEVER OKAY PLEASE CAN WE MOVE. I was slightly wigging out over these guys and not only did they treat our entire yard for them, they also removed all egg sacs and spiders from the areas where they were seen. I never slept so well after their first visit and they have always come back out if I see something else that makes me want to faint as part of our plan.
Once, we were having some rodent issues (really, I’m sure I’m making the Heights out to be a paradise) and our tech removed the low hanging branches from a palm tree for free. The tree needed it anyway and we hadn’t gotten a chance to remove the dead branches and coming home to see it done was above and beyond. He explained that they can attract rodents. Knight in shining armor. Yes, yes, and yes.
I know I’m a little long winded but our yard was getting out of control with my husband not home so I requested a one time lawn mow (which they don’t do). They did it anyway and coming home to a freshly cut, weed whacked, edged, and blown off driveway was awesome. I seriously cannot recommend these folks enough, they take time to write you notes when you aren’t home to tell you what was done and have always gone above and beyond for our home.
Seriously, ten stars.

Tried to get a rough quote on termite service. They were not very friendly and hung up on me.

As good as it gets! They were right on time and fast. The technician was clean and professional. We will begin using this company for our monthly service.
