History

Established in 1989.

founded by J.D. Manning with the concept of operating at extremely low overhead and low profit margins with a goal of high volume sales. J.D. always believed in truckload buying direct from the manufacturer to get the best possible value for his customers. In addition J.D. was a big believer in word of mouth advertising and was passionate about ensuring that his customers felt great about their purchase and would enthusiastically recommend us to others. The Carpet Store remains a family business and is currently operated by J.D.‘s children and grandchildren.
