Clean & Seal

Mat Lloyd of clean and seal is nothing but a fraud .Back in April/​2016 I had called him to do a sealing on my pool pavers and we agreed on a price since all the furniture was removed and he just had to come in and fill in between the pavers and sand and seal the pavers. He told me he uses special sand between the pavers. He said the pavers would get dark from the sealer and that’s what I wanted. He came over the next day and started putting the sand down. I asked him where he gets the sand from and he told me Home depot. Bell # 1 went off. Whats so special about that sand its regular sand. So he puts down all the sand and tells me when he sprays the sealer the pavers will get dark and he put about 3 coats down. He told me send him a picture of it the next day and if I don’t get the effect I want with the pavers getting dark he will come back and apply more sealer. When I gave him a check I told him I need receipt and he said he will email it to me. The next day I sent him the pics and the following day I told him the pavers never got dark and a lot of sand missing between the cracks of the pavers. He would not return my texts or phone calls. Bell#2. So after 2 weeks I called him from a different number and he answered the phone. So now he says he will be over the following day. So he shows up and I show him the areas without sand. So he puts down that special sand he says he uses and reseals the pavers where the new sand was put. I question about the pavers color and he said to me it was a bad batch of sealer from the company. He said he would call the company and they would send a tech out to check the pavers. I again asked him for a receipt and he say he will email it to me. I told him this is the 2^nd time asking you for it. I waited about 2 weeks and I called Matt and sent him texts and no answer. Bell#3. I called the company that makes the product up in Lutz Fl. Spoke to Rich and told him what was going on and what Matt Lloyd said concerning their product. He just laughed over the phone .He had gotten other calls about sealer companies using sealers from Home depot and telling customers its the sealer from seal and lock. I brought 3 spare pavers i had to Rich. He put his sealer on it and the pavers got dark after numerous coats and to this day they are still dark out in the sun. I have called Matt again and still no answer or text. This MAtt Lloyd is nothing but a fraud and a con artist. Now I now have to go to small claims and sue him for my money back. Please pass the word around to your friends and family about this con artist. He needs to be stopped before other people are ripped off.

If I could leave «0» stars I would! Matt Lloyd has now blocked my husband and i from his Facebook business page trying to shut down bad reviews… 5 of us are taking him to small claims court as well as reporting him to The Better Business Bureau. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Matt Lloyd with clean & Seal was paid in full to pressure wash and seal our patio pavers and our pool cage and some soffit. It was incomplete, damaged screens, missed spots on the pool cage and soffit. He does not return phone calls. Cannot be reached and did not fix his mistakes. He would not answer the phone. There was no sand put between pavers and did not appear to be sealed. Weeds and mold are coming up all over just after a week if him being here. Beware..

I recently had my pavers cleaned and sealed. Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable. Looks great! I highly recommend!

Great service– I was in town clearing my aunt’s house and as I don’t live here, needed service quickly. Matt got back to me immediately to set up an appointment and arrived on time. He was extra careful with every area we discussed and made sure I had as much information as possible. Reasonable price, great service and results. I highly recommend him!

We had a terrible experience with this company. They left sand all over our pavers and in the gutters on our street. We called the owner to have him come back to clean up and complete the job. We have yet to hear back from him. It’s been weeks! Worse job ever. Horrible attitudes. We could hear Matt yelling and speaking rudely to his employees. Would never recommend this company.

Needed to clean and seal my new pavers to protect my investment and contacted Clean & Seal, LLC for a quote. They were very reasonable and they arrived next day! I received excellent service on my new pavers and communication from Matt & Cheryl, the owners. They were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable and everything was delivered in full as agreed upon. It was quite refreshing since I did not receive the same service with the paver company I had contracted with. Matt, the owner made sure I was aware of all the details in caring for my new pavers. After they finished the job it rained a little and he even came back next day to re-​seal. My neighbor was so impressed with the result that they’ve already contacted Clean & Seal to clean & seal their pavers too! They will continue to get recommendations from me in the future!
