History

Established in 1968.

Corbett Preparatory School of IDS is a private school in Tampa for students in preschool through eighth grade. Founded in 1968 on the premise that all children deserve a gifted education, Corbett Prep uses brain-​based research to create a learning environment that is joyful and challenging. Corbett Prep offers the International Baccalaureate Programme for all students in PreK3 through middle school. Teachers are endorsed in gifted education through a master’s level grant with the University of South Florida College of Education Gifted Program.
