Absolutely. Going to South Tampa Not Related to South Tampa. Welcome all:-)
Heading to Tampa. For Business and fun. Needed a break. Checked reviews for this place. Had never been to this Area. I am always ready for an adventure. Specially if I am tired and HUNGRY.
So, here’s what greeted me WOW WHAT A SHOCKER! Approximately a couple of
miles (give or take) headed north on I 75 Before the Temple Terrace Exit.
Take A Look At This Pic. A HUGE CONFEDERATE FLAG. BLOWING IN THE WIND. «NO NOT NECESSARILY ON THE PROPERTY OF THIS BUSINESS». Decided to check «Eating place» out. And, Holy C***
I always take into account. The clientele (Do they seem glad to be there, and ck out the food).
No one paid attention to me. Took for ever for someone to approach me. Realized did not have time,$ or energy to waste. So made an exit.
I am Very Proactive to Helping Out The private (Mom & Pop) Businesses. So, I Should have Followed My Heart. And Not Gotten Off the Highway Here. Temple Terrace is considered a part of Tampa.” So I’ve Been Told”.
AND, YES, YES AND YES, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME :-(
This is Not. The Welcome To Florida. Thousands of Travelers, need to Be Greeted By. Many say this is a misunderstood symbol. But, common guys we live in a Very Diversified State. And 4 that I love it. It’s Almost 2016.
Tampa is a Wonderful Place. And Yes, we are multi cultural.
Are these people and their City Officials Insane Or Just Plain Ignorant.
MAYBE ALL OF THE ABOVE?
Florida’s Economy is primarily Impacted By Our Visitors.

Celebrating The Season.

I really like this place. Friendly and easy on the wallet. I come for the Saturday night draw doubles pool tournament with a singles after. Food is very good beer is very cold. Plenty of TV ‘s with all the games on. I passed Firehouse for 30yrs without ever coming in, mainly because I live across town. I came for the tournament 4 weeks ago and have come every week since. I’ve had a great time every time and made many new friends. If u see me here say HI… G

We were looking for a spot to get drinks and wings before going to Busch Gardens. Not super inviting from the outside and definitely dive-​y but a GREAT spot.
This place is full of local charm. Obvious regulars at the bar, waitresses chatting it up at every table and running around like crazy — after work crowd picked up pretty fast.
There were a couple of dinner specials (smelled super good). We just got wings — very good, super cheap and $ 1 drafts to wash them down.
Add in that they have touch tunes and you have a pretty solid spot!

So its on the gettho side of the street, and its a bit divy inside, but man, some fun times could be had in this place. Its feels good to find a place with cheapish food that taste great. I’ve come here several time for their wings, and they are great. They are all the smaller side as far as wings go, but the flavor is there, and compared to other places, the price is right. Depending on what day you go they may have different deals, but I just went on a Sunday and got 20 wings and a pint for just above $ 16.
I can’t say much about their other food. The pizza is cheap and good, and the hot dogs you should stay away from, they are cheap, but taste cheap too.
Pool tables here are $ 0.50 a game. The tables are a little worn down, but they are leveled and still allow for a good fair game. They also have pool tournaments here regularly if that something your into. Pool sticks can be found at the bar.
The bathrooms are ok. A bit more on the dirty side but not much different from the rest of this place, so no surprise there.
The service is good. I usually get the same person. She is nice, not the type to sit and talk with you but does get the order right. Takes her sweet time sometimes, but thats probably cuz she’s serving a bunch of other people and not because she’s just wasting time… at least i’d like to think so. haha
All in all this is a good place to hang out and have a good time with friends. It is more of a dive bar, but thats where it gets its character. Thats why 4 stars… just barely.

You cannot beat their happy hour. Everything is cheap and Amanda is the coolest bartender. The wings are great.

Firehouse is a place where your automatically treated like family! The wings are the best in town! Don’t get me started on prices because the there so low you feel like you’re back in the eighties!!! Shout out to amber foh dread queen!!!

Food here is always great, and the service is friendly. It’s a pub, so nothing fancy about the décor. And the other patrons at the bar have always been really nice too. Sit at the bar and talk to people, you’ll enjoy it, plus they have darts, pool tables and other games, beer and wine only, no liquor

This review is based solely on their hot wings. Some of the best I’ve had. I’d recommend trying them out

Ok folks… great wet wings some great people. The wait staff Amanda & Amber are amazing. This a hometown neighborhood place that has sports and cold beer. Want a yuppie place? not here. Come and enjoy some Tampa neighborhood food and great peeps.

The place used to be alot better but last time I was in just really dirty. Drinks are cheap but I say stick with bottles. The wings are good. The pool tables are cheap so if you want to shoot pool and drink beer go for it.

I love the wings. They are known for there great wings. They actually won an award for the hot wings. REALLY CHEAP too!!! Which is great. Like 8 bucks for 20 wings. Can’t beat that! True, the place looks pretty shady, but you can pre-​order your food and pick up from the pick up window so you don’t have to sit inside. The inside really isn’t THAT bad. I’ve been to pretty nasty hole in the wall bars and it sucks. I don’t mind Firehouse. I’ve never been hit on but any bar you go to with drunk people might make your night there not as enjoyable. Remember it is a pub. You can play darts, play pool, watch tv, etc. It’s really not that bad. The pizza isn’t worth even trying, but the wings are definitely great!

We go here all the time. We like their wings (sometimes more than others) We have some friends that live in st. pete and come here for wings. It is a hole in the wall but they are always nice to us when we go and the service is a little slow but they are friendly there. I Dont like chain wing places so this is perfect for us.

Food wasn’t that good. Its a hole in the wall. Go and play pool and leave.

I can’t remember the movie, but the quote goes something like, «How much for just one wing?..»
The Firehouse was (and still is) a frightening shithole that offers like 25 cent wings or something. I used to live like, 2 blocks away and this place was where we «ended the night» a few times. It stinks like those 25 cent wings, ALL THE TIME and there’s always some skeevy guys playing pool that will try and use dirty pickup lines on you. It serves extremely cheap beer from what I remember and therefore attracts all the Temple Terrace riffraff. I remember they served me and my underage friend, which is why we went there more then once… but you could not drag me back in there ever again now that we’re actually old enough to consume adult beverages.
