History

Established in 1998.

Four Paws Sake has been caring for Tampa Bay’s pets for over 17 years! Founded by Laurie Gold in 1998 and then acquired in 2006 by Caren Tully Gaesser, a part-​time pet sitter of Laurie’s for many years. Caren and her husband, Mark, are both full-​time pet sitters and are dedicated to providing their clients, furred, scaled or feathered-​clients included, exceptional pet care services. Rebecca Evans is a part-​time sitter and has been with the company over four years. We are the top rated pet sitting/​dog walking company in Tampa Bay on Angie’s List and have many excellent reviews on Google. We love what we do and feel privileged to have the great responsibility to care for your beloved pets!

Caren has always wanted to work with animals and was finally able to fulfill that desire when she discovered pet sitting. In her youth, she would walk neighbors dogs for free just because she loved being around her furry friends! She didn’t know at the time that one day she would fulfill her dream and turn her passion into a career. Over the years, Caren has taken care of diabetic animals requiring insulin injections, animals requiring subcutaneous fluids, cats, dogs, rabits, fish, reptiles, chickens, ferrets, you name it and she has probably taken care of it. She has extensive experience with all types of temperaments and the requirements each pet and pet owner has. She has truly enjoyed all the wonderful pets she has met along the way. It has been a dream come true for her! She has a degree in Information Technology and was a professional in a corporate environment for many years before realizing her dream of caring for animals.
