Dr. Giunta is fantastic and so is the rest of his staff! I am one of those «shiver at the thought of going to the dentist» kind of people. I have sensitive teeth and have always been petrified at the thought of a cleaning, let alone invasive dental work. This place has changed my mind. The staff is super friendly and mindful of any of your sensitivity concerns. They are receptive to numbing requests and explain what they are doing as they navigate around your teeth. If you need to change your appointment, they easily book you for another time slot, even last minute. They remember me and quite a lot about what I have told them in regards to my life. I love this office and will keep going/​referring friends. Dentistry done right!

I needed a dental exam for some upcoming travel. Not only did they get me in the very week that I first called, they also gave me a great dental cleaning. The entire staff was helpful and kind. Special thanks to Ms. Angela & Dr. Matthew!

When I first moved to Florida, I went to another dentist in Clearwater and had a very bad experience. I’ll spare you the gory details (but think pain, blood).
I then went on an unwavering search for a great dentist and found Dr. Guinta by asking a family doctor where he went for dental services.
I drive from Clearwater to Tampa to be a patient of Dr. Guintas. I’ve been seeing him for 15 years and he always explains what he’s going to do and offers options for treatment. I’ve never had any pain, despite being a little tricky to numb up. He is always ready to pause or break if there is any issue with comfort.
They seem to have all the latest equipment, digital xrays, etc. Written quotes are provided for future work.
One of the things I like best about Dr. Guinta is that he readily refers to other experts. He does not do root canals, but sent me to an excellent endodontist for root canal treatment, and to a surgeon for a possible implant. (This was the issue with my prior dentist, who tried to do a root canal on my tooth herself).
Something else I like about the office is that it reminds me of dentistry I had as a child. A clean waiting room with many magazines. Individual rooms for cleaning and treatment provide privacy. The staff has been there long term and are all very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Guinta’s son is practicing with him now, and he too, is very careful and explains everything.
Whenever I come for treatment or cleaning, I know that my exam will be thorough, competent and that any procedures will be comfortable and painless.
