Paint Nite

I’ve done Paint Nite twice now. Both times at different venues. And I love it! This last time was awesome. Made especially hilarious and fun with the group we had. People are great when inebriated and painting! I had one (really strong) drink before we started painting and I’m not sure if I would have kept drinking, if my painting would have been better or worse LOL. But I had fun and my painting turned out just fine!
Our instructor for the night, Kenzie– fantastic! She was very patient with everyone there and input jokes at just the right times. She also went at a slow enough pace that everyone could follow. Appreciated that she went around the room with her painting after certain steps so we could see up close what to do next. Only complaint was that it was kind of hard to see what she was doing as she was at one end of the room and we were in the back and had to crane our necks around everyone’s heads to see.
I brought the hubby for our date night, who initially had that «oh, shit. really??» look as we saw the room fill up with only women-​hahaha! But then more couples started coming in and he became more relaxed. He thought this was a chicks only kind of thing. But it’s not! He even said afterwards that he had a lot of fun and enjoyed painting.
Already looking at next month’s paintings and venues to see what we should paint next! They always have coupon codes you can use when buying tickets and usually there are great deals on Groupon and Living Social.

Paint Nite Tampa totally deserves 5-​stars because it was so much fun & out of the box entertaining but I’m «a boring and prude» true follower of Christ so I took away one star because our lovely Master Artist, Caroline included swear words in her oath. It was a cute and playful oath but I think it would have been much better without the curse word (needless to say I didn’t repeat her oath in its entirety).
Obviously, I have more fun when there’s no drinking & swearing going on… LOL! I enjoyed Caroline’s energy & she’s really talented. Such a kind person who loves what she does. Visit her Esty shop at
