I went in for a general wellness and it went okay. After a little wait, Dr. Petrus took some time to talk with me and understand my health history which is good. But, honestly, it would have been nice if they could have done labs in house, instead of having to go elsewhere. He was very firm that he doesn’t prescribe antibiotics for no reason, which is great and I totally agree with but… okay, I wasn’t there for that anyway. I’ll be back whenever sickness strikes — we’ll see how it goes next time. Staff seemed very nice and friendly.

I just had a visit with Dr. Persons at this Tampa general location. The staff is incredibly inviting and helpful. From Deanna at the front, to Sandra’s assistance, to Dr. Persons, everyone made me feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my medical needs rest in good hands. Great job to the medical staff here!

He is great. There is rarely a wait of more than 3 minutes. He is direct and listens to your needs. He has a great bedside manner. My favorite doctor I’ve had. I’ve been seeing him for around 2 years now. I would definitely recommend him.

It’s hard to find a good doctor this days (especially when you are new in town), but I’m glad to say the search is over. Dr. Petrus is very friendly and compassionate. He truly cares for his patients and makes sure to listen to every single thing you have to say. Most important, he has a great sense of humor. I have only been there twice in less than a month, and I can tell his is one of the few doctors left on earth who truly enjoys his profession.

I was new to the Tampa Bay area and looking for a family Doctor. I found Dr. Petrus online and decided to give him a try. What a great Doctor! He was very kind and took the time to listen to my medical history. I did not feel rushed at all. You can tell he actually thinks about what he should do instead of just offering some generic solution.
I needed to be referred to a specialist and he was honest and said he wasn’t sure of the ones he knew about as he had not met them personally. I appreciated the honesty as I was sent to see other Doctors in the past and and did not have good experiences which made me wonder about my primary care Doctor and why he was sending me to that particular person.
I wanted a good Doctor that I could trust to be honest and treat me like a real person and I found that in Dr. Pertrus!
Go see Dr. Petrus you will be glad you did!
