A Tampa salon located in the Westpark Village of Westchase, Serenity is a full service salon and spa where we provide our clients with a wonderful experience from the moment they walk in the door. We are an upscale salon for men, women and children. We are open seven days a week, including four nights until 8 p.m. to accommodate busy schedules. Our skilled professionals are highly trained in the latest trends, innovative coloring techniques, Keratin treatments, updos, and makeup application. For clients wishing to enjoy the entire spa experience, we offer complete nail service, relaxation massage, therapeutic facial treatments. We are a Bumble and bumble salon and GM Collins Spa.

History

Established in 2014.

On March 27, 2014 Serenity was purchased by new owners. We have a wonderful salon and spa with a very dedicated staff. We carry great brands like Bumble and bumble and GM Collins.

After moving from Chicago to Tampa a year and a half ago… I have been bouncing around from Salon to Salon to find a good one. Finally… I have found a great salon with Serenity! Francisco did my color/​highlights and cut. He is professional, easy to talk with, and very good at what he does. I told him what I wanted and he was quick to know actually how to get it done! I was so at ease with him which was so refreshing. I love my hair again! Thank you Francisco!!! I have had a lot of compliments on my hair as well!
I also got my hair blow-​out from Jose. He is also very professional, sweet, and very good with hair. You can tell Francisco and Jose love what they do for a living. You can’t go wrong with either one of these Professionals.

I’ve had three spa pedicures with Crystal which have all been perfect with beautiful designs. Pedicure STILL looks fabulous at four weeks even with working out four days a week and yoga on two other days. I pick the base color and let Crystal’s artistic imagination choose the design. Here is today’s masterpiece! I even had a leg spasm. Crystal stopped the pedi and massaged my leg until the pain left. She is also a massage therapist! She gives the best design pedicures that I’ve ever had.

If anyone… male or female is looking for the most amazing hair stylist… look no further! Jose is the best you’ll ever find! I have gone to him for years and have never been disappointed! He is the most amazing, informative and detailed person to have for your hair needs! You will truly feel like you are his top priority! I found Serenity by a referral of a co-​worker who swore by Jose and Francisco. After a hair disaster at another salon, I was nervous about trying someone new again. But, my hair was a hot mess as my highlights were uneven, chunky, spotty and brassy. When I met Jose, I immediately knew that he would fix the mess without destroying the integrity of my hair. Jose is so passionate about what he does. He had a plan to get me the look I wanted and that would keep my hair healthy. Jose has an energy about him that made the salon experience fun again. I am thrilled with my results and I have found my forever stylist.

I have been to Serenity for a massage in the past. Today, I went in for color and a hair cut. I had a horrible haircut a few months ago and I was growing my hair out. I had years of bleaching and lots of highlights that grew out.
I was greeted with a smile by Francisco and for the first time I did not have someone intimidated by the thickness of my hair. He was excited to help me transform and he exceeded every expectation that I had.
I have never been so impressed with a Salon’s service, attitude and true direction to help me continue the look he provided me with today!!!
All of the staff was friendly and so upbeat. A wonderful atmosphere! I will definitely be back! Thanks Francisco for the love today!!! I feel absolutely beautiful! :)

I have been seeing Jose at Serenity for about a year now and I couldn’t be happier. He is super sweet and makes me feel great every time I walk out of the salon. His blow outs are something special! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great looking hair!

I love this place, fransico and jose are the best ever. Fun, thoughtful and very talented. I get treated so well as do all their clients. The color techniques are top of the line. My hair has never looked so good as with them. Relaxing here with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, I feel renewed.

Family friendly-​if you’re looking for a salon that accommodates the whole family, look no further. My 3 boys and I have been getting our hair cut by Francisco and Jose for years and I’ve never felt warmer or more welcomed than at Serenity. These guys are fast, the staff is friendly, and they are very accommodating to our busy schedule. Keep it up, guys!

This salon is top notch! Since my last review, I have gotten my hair colored, cut, eye brows waxed and have had manicures and pedicures. The hair stylists are all friendly and great. I have curly hair and love Heather! She cut and colored my hair and I love it.
I have had my eyebrows waxed by Sharon and she has done a great job.
For nails, I have gone to crystal and Phyllis. Crystal is great for designs.
All in all, for me, this salon is a keeper because of their service. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special and important. Plus, they serve coffee, tea, water and even wine to their customers.
So, take time for you!

Jose and Francisco are awesome!!! They have obviously been doing hair for a long time and have the skill to prove it. Every time I’m there other women are talking about how they drove hundreds of miles just to be there. When you first walk in you are greeted by their super friendly staff and directed to your seat where you are offered a beverage, a smile, and a hello from everyone. The salon is a well oiled machine and everyone leaves happy.

I visited Serenity today for a pedicure and gel manicure. I was greeted very politely by the front desk staff and Crystal. I requested something fun for my trip to the keys. Crystal did a great job on both my feet and hands. I love what she choose to give my nails a fancy twist.

Won’t go back! Went in last week for a color and cut with Jose, he was the only one available. The color was not what we talked about. We said chocolate brown, he did warm red brown. The hair cut, I have long hair and always cut my hair the same. Long layers and side bangs. He cut more than he was suppose to on the back and my bangs were all mangled. He knew how upset I was, he didn’t charge me for the haircut but sent me home with disappointment. Luckily my hair grows fast because I have to take pictures this week.

It’s nice, but too expensive. Like way too much! I have thin-​medium long hair and still can’t believe I spend 175.00! The lady who did my hair was excellent. I like the cut and hair color, the only fault is the blow drying and styling… I can’t really complain about it tho, only a few people know how to style my hair, she did a good job with color and cutting… :)

Serenity has been under new ownership for almost a year now! We have a few new members that have been added to our Serenity family, such as Laura for nails, Sharon for skin care and waxing, and Jennifer for massage therapy. The stylists have attended a few classes this new year to freshen up on the Brazilian Blowout treatment, Color I.D., Balayage and Olaplex. I am very pleased with all of the staff here at Serenity Salon and Spa and I will be more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have about coming here!

I have consistently been going to Serenity Salon for almost a year now. When I first moved to Tampa, it was not only in my apartment complex (west Park village) but someone referred Chaz to me specifically. When I went in, Chaz had apparently called in sick so I got Kendall. I was pleased with the color but not the cut — I went back for a walk-​in appointment and saw Franky who did a good job but eventually left to open his own salon. I went back once again and made an appointment with Chaz to give her another shot since she was highly recommended to me — again, upon my arrival she had called in sick… again!
The owner was very apologetic about it and had me work with Heather — who I believe was new to the salon. Well — lucky me! Heather has done an amazing job month over month when doing my highlights, lowlights, base bump, cut and style! She’s such a sweetheart and makes for a fantastic experience! She recently attended a training/​convention to continually improve in her skills and every time I see her she gets better and better! Highly recommend! :-)
