Total dive probably worth only 3.5 stars, but they had pretty solid tacos. It’s just not the quality of seasoning or yumminess that I have come to expect from out of the way Mexican food trucks. It wasn’t bad, and it might have been an off day, but I was definitely underwhelmed across the board.

The restaurant is definitely a dive spot as most have stated. The service was good however the food was just mediocre. Not sure if it was worth the 30 dollar price tag.

I was sorely disappointed in both the service and quality of food here. My co-workers and I stopped here for a quick bite. Both of our servers seemed uninterested in helping us and when we ordered our food we were asked, «Are you sure you want to order? It is going to take so long.» What? Does that mean they didn’t want us there? We only had 30 min left before getting back to work and so there was not an option to go elsewhere. When I went to the back, the bathrooms were located right next to a food prep station where a large pile of sliced steak was being cut. What? I tried not to think about it too much and was relieved to remember I didn’t order steak. I definitely won’t be back. The food was mediocre and the service was atrocious. And I am not sure everything is up to code.

The worst restaurant ever that I’ve tried, the whole place seemed dirty as we walked in. Chips were stale to start off. The menu seemed new to the waiter… I ordered Alambre which in the menu it stated it came with three different meats, however the lady comes back to ask me which meat I wanted so I was like what are you talking about? It states exactly what comes with it in the menu… Asked her for water and never got my cup of water. I speak perfect Spanish and I have no idea what she was saying. My wife and I were so disgusted by the whole place we didn’t even eat ¼ of our food. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! You’ll regret it.

Coffee w/Salsa, right on, now add authentic Huevos Ranchero”s, rice & beans with a side of homemade flour tortillas, ay dio mio, too mush bueno! I perceive is a good sign that the majority presence is Hispanic. countering those questioning the authenticity of the place and it’s blandness. Décor is very barrio soul-kitchen and also definitive is to arrive in jeans and tee, shorts, even pj’s… judging not at this place. Vegetarian here so not sure about breakfast meat selection. There’s a grillin’ going on outside, yes even in the morning, in preparation for the day I guess. Sure smells good. Oh plenty kids were about the place. I paid cash so not sure about Visa, etc.

Not terrible, but lots of Mexican places do better on tacos, décor & menu options. It does have a faithful following of spanish-speaking customers, has a nice mexican market next door(Noa Noa) and I really like their chorizo tacos. Missed dropping in on Dias de los Muertos to see if they had any skull bread.

We passed by this dingy hole in the wall feeling optimistic about the authenticity of the food due to the name and an unspoken feeling. We were disappointed. You do get that authentic Mexican hospitality, but the tacos are anything but authentic. The tacos al pastor are rather dry and tasteless, which is rare to find since al pastor is typically juicy and flavorful. The carnitas didn’t taste like much either. The only reason it gets a second star is because the employees are very warm and friendly. The tacos have a large room for improvement, however.
