The Game Academy

Again this store does give me mixed feelings like I did for Armada Games. However, this store wasn’t recommended by a couple of Magic the Gathering players in South Florida.
The issues are different here. Parking is ample, next to Chili’s restaurant and a gym. Felt safe here. Large store with several tables. But the store smelled heavily doused with air fresheners. I am prone to headaches from artificial scented crap. If that is a way to cover up the fact that you can’t keep the store clean with proper cleaning products like Clorox or that the majority of your customers do not take showers with a bar of soap daily (and I don’t mean just spraying AXE in place of a shower— double gross!!!)… Then I’ll have to take my business elsewhere.
Every single person at every table there were playing Yu-​Gi-​Oh, even some adults. Ok, maybe early Saturday afternoons are reserved for those kind of players. I couldn’t exactly find out the schedule for Magic the Gathering. Will find out more later.
Not yet sure if this is «the» store to go for MTG playing.
