The Vintage Lofts at West End

Way overpriced for what you get. So much noise from construction. Really just a terrible place to live; definitely look somewhere else if you’re thinking of moving near the urban area of Tampa.

I would actually consider resigning my lease at Vintage if it weren’t for the excessive amounts of noise issues. I lost count how many times I have called security/​and or the Tampa police for noise complaints involving loud bass. After a certain amount of noise complaints, Vintage mentioned how residents are supposed to be evicted from their apartments… but that absolutely never happened.
I honestly do enjoy the convenient location near downtown and Soho. The gym and pool are nice and the fact that guests can park anywhere in the parking garage is a huge plus. I never felt unsafe living here, even though some areas around it aren’t the greatest. Also, maintenance responds to requests in a timely fashion and they are super polite.
If you think you can put up with loud music on a regular basis than go for it. However, if you are a grad student and work full time like I do, I would highly suggest looking somewhere else.

Please don’t make the same mistake as us. Unless you’re looking to hang out with entitled private collage kids, than this is your place. Their brochure should read «The Vintage Loft at the sleepless west end of Tampa». Where the only speed dial you’ll need to security to clear out the parties. We have been here for 5 months and we make the 1 – 2 call to them weekly to do just that. The walls are so thin super models would be envious. Management does their best, but you would figure the over promise and well under delivered sales job of their product would keep collage kids out. Sad part is we have 7 months of this hell to live.

I meant to review this place a few months ago but got caught up in moving. We toured this place when we were looking for a place to live in Tampa. Boy was I disappointed. We didn’t know this area at all so we thought we hit the jackpot when we found this really nice looking apartment building online. First off the surroundings are not nice at all. Then you walk inside and sit down and go through everything, and it is so overpriced for the location and the apartments themselves it’s crazy. Walking through the building everything looked like it was falling apart, there has been no upkeep clearly. The dog park area was disgusting, and don’t even get me started on the hallways. Then we get back to the office and learn that the application fee is $ 300. Never in my life have I heard of anything like that. That is so absurd. The four buildings we looked at after that all had an application fee below $ 70. You couldn’t have paid me to live in this building, and the office staff was pushy… they seemed desperate to get people to live there, but in a rude pushy way not an a overly nice pushy way. We ended up finding a place close by called Broadstone Hyde Park and we love living here. Thank God we kept looking.

Do you like to sleep in? DO NOT LIVE HERE! Severely overpriced and in the middle of a redevelopment build up!!! I’ve lived at the vintage lofts for 8 months and there has been non stop construction since I moved in. Monday-​Saturday 6 am — 6 pm hammering, saws, and men yelling. Try being hung over with all that going on! There are still a bunch of open lots around the vintage lofts complex so the construction of new housing developments will be ongoing. You definitely do not get what you pay for.

I rented from udr when I first moved to Florida in 2012. When my lease ran up I wanted to move closer to work in south Tampa so I found the vintage lofts. At first glance it looks amazing but after living there for a year it’s a nightmare. The staff only caters to college kids. If your a working professional run do not move there. It’s noisy at all hours, kids peeing off balconies. My apartment came with a storage unit I had to fight tooth and nails to get it and I finally revived it a month before I moved out. My car also got hit in the parking garage and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Vary poor ran place, poorly built microwave broke 3 times. My advice rent from noho or post.

If you are a professional looking to have a quiet place to live and hang your hat, RUN. This place is infested with college students from UT, the hallways are constantly full of cigarette butts, empty beer cans and bottles and its a constant frat party. The place is absolutely filthy and the residents really care more about partying than taking care of the place they live. The property «director» that is a joke in itself could not be any less helpful and the customer service skills of the entire staff definitely leave something to be desired if it doesn’t more conclusively astonish you. All of the reviews really speak for themselves. Spare yourself a headache and DO NOT DO IT.

I have lived in the Vintage Loft apartments and am moving next month (February 2014) due to moving to a new city. During my search for apartments, I have found that reviews of apartments have been a great help in determining where to stay in my new location so I decided to write a review about the Vintage Lofts.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Vintage Lofts. I don’t have much bad to say about it.
1. You might read a lot of reviews about there being a lot of construction. I’m not going to lie, during that 10 month time frame last year, the construction noise was quite annoying but those days are long gone and I enjoy peace and quiet.
2. I have read a lot of reviews of people complaining about party noise or noisy neighbors. Let me tell you first hand that the Vintage Lofts goes to extreme measures to ensure that their residents have a quite place to sleep at night. I went through a bit of a party state when I first moved into the Vintage lofts and my apartment received a couple of noise complaints (They were well deserved as I had several people over and I’m sure that the noise traveled). I’m not proud of that, but I say it because after our second noise complaint in which the courtesy officer verified that our noise level was high, we received a notice saying that If we received one more verified violation, we would be evicted. Since I valued my stay at the Vintage Lofts, we made a big change and found other ways to have gatherings (such as use the clubhouse). Since then (1.5 years ago) we have had no problems.
3. The parking garage is awesome and there is always plenty of parking. Best of all it is free!
4. The area that the apartment is in is not located in the greatest of neighborhoods but I would not consider it the ghetto either. It is just an older part of the city. I had a first floor apartment with a sliding door facing Rome street and I never once had any security issues.
5. As far as location you CANNOT BEAT IT! You are a 3 minute drive from SOHO, 5 minute drive to Channel side and a 10 Minute drive to YBOR. For those of you that like a good nightlife, and actually care about others and don’t drink and drive, you will never have a cab cost more than 10 – 12 dollars to get to any of those places. SOHO will be less than 5 dollars.
6. For the quality of apartment that you get and the location that it is in, you will not find a better price on an apartment! The value is awesome for what you get.
7. The pool in the summer time is always full of people and a really fun place to hang out.
8. Maintenance is never a concern. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours to get any maintenance done. The maintenance guys are always friendly and concerned about your needs.
9. The Office staff is awesome and they hold residents needs very high.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend the Vintage Lofts to any young adults that are looking for a nice place to stay.
