I would give this 10 stars if I could, the staff are friendly and more importantly very non judgmental, the store is well lit, very clean and the selection of lubes is the best ive seen in the tampa area, the selection of toys is great, maybe a little vanilla but all the toys are of good quality and are reasonably priced and their selection of products definately ranges from mild to wild
Id suggest this store for anyone looking to find something new to try/​play with in the bedroom and would like to note that todd couples superstore is the least creapy/​skeezy adult shop ive been in in the tampa and even Lakeland area

A well known adult store in the Tampa area. They have a decent selection of tools, toys, clothes, magazines, books, movies, and party jokes. There is also a lube bar where you can feel and taste any of the lubes. If there is a product that you would like to check out just ask an associate and they will take it out of the package and put batteries in as needed. Keep in mind they will have you use hand sanitizer if you do check anything out of the package or the lube bar. During Halloween they carry a large selection of costumes. A few of the associates know quite a bit about the products. So if you need something, have some time on your hands (so to speak. giggity, giggity), or want to go for fun try The Todd out.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, as long as you have an open mind. If you’re a prude who is going to make faces at everything and look disgusted, then don’t bother. But if you’re a consenting adult who likes to try new things and have a good laugh, take a trip through The Todd.

The Todd is such a friendly place.
Well lit, the parking lot is not a sketchy place. The inside of the store is bright and welcoming, the employees are always friendly and willing to help you with anything you might need. They’re able to let you see products, let you feel the sensations (yes, vibrations) of different toys with batteries. They’re more than happy to let you see what the straps on certain items are like as well, there is no hesitation at all from them. And you can’t forget about the lube bar either!
This is the best adult store in Tampa!
Oh! And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the lingerie, shoes and stockings section. it’s not just for dancers! They have something for everybody. If you want a costume at Halloween, if you want a corset for dress up or if you’re looking for a wig, this is a place I would recommend you check out. Their prices are really good!

Hubby and I haven’t gone on a date in ages — someone told us about The Todd. It’s a large store with tons to look at. We spent quite a bit of time checking everything out. They have the normal selection of gag gifts and such but also a really HUGE vibe collection. 3 aisles on both sides. There’s some pretty high end stuff, too. I scratched out my Christmas list and then we drive down the street to Shooters World so hubby could put together his :)

The staff was friendly and helpful. I was looking for garments for an actor.
They had many options within the costumes and shoes.
It was a little odd to me that I couldn’t touch the display shoes or open boxes, but I suppose the store have to deal with ruffians that don’t show respect to displays or unpurchased merchandise.
I didn’t purchase anything because the sale is final. As a costume designer, I have to be able to return garments if they don’t fit.

This is by far the largest store of this kind that I’ve been in. They have so much stuff that it’s nearly impossible to make a decision on what to purchase. I can’t come here and spend less than an hour perusing the aisles. It’s just not possible!
They have huge sections dedicated to toys, outfits, bachelorette party supplies, and magazines & videos. I only wish they’d shrink the party supplies and expand the lube/​condom/​massage oil/​edibles section, because that area is pretty small with a limited selection when compared to the other areas if the store.
The environment is clean and well lit, staff is professional & friendly, and the prices aren’t bad! You can find some great bargains, as well as some awesome splurges. Love this store!

This superstore brought out my immature side for sure. I was giggling like a schoolgirl constantly, but to be honest the selection was mind-​boggling. Very friendly, helpful staff even though we didn’t want to make eye contact with anyone. Great costume selection that spanned «normal/​prudish» to «dirty hooker.»
I know it’s the same at all these «shops» but, holy crap this stuff is expensive!

As far as adult stores go, The Todd is the best in the Tampa area. I never leave empty handed and the staff is more than willing to help you find exactly what you’re looking for, and trust me, with as much merchandise as this place always carries, you’ll find it and even at a great price. They even carry a good selection of bondage equipment, if you’re into that. Each time I go an employee even goes so far as to unpackage something and demonstrate exactly how the item works and explains what way to best use it, which is helpful because they have so much to choose from no matter what section you’re shopping in. I know some people may feel uncomfortable at even the thought of adult toy stores, because some are kind of gross and sleazy, but the staff here always makes sure you’re comfortable and its also very clean and organised. I’ve definitely become a regular here this past year, and its really hard not to when everything about it is fantastic. My boyfriend always gets excited when I tell him I went shopping at The Todd that day!

This is the adult mega store baby. We have stopped at almost every dive ass adult store from South Florida to Chicago. Including the little ones in Kentucky where the crazy Christians video you going in and offer you bibles. Well we had none of that at the Todd. They had everything that you probably are looking for. I seriously don’t think I have seen so many lubes in all my life. BTW guys if you’re ever considering making her that special gift, they have a set where you can mold your penis into a candle… The staff was helpful, he actually showed us the most powerful vibrator in the place which was more like a jackhammer, and less like a sex toy. All-​in-​al I recommend it for experience even if your not going to by anything…

if you want cheap condoms, go to the health dept/​metro charities for free ones. if you want fancy condoms & fancy lubes go to the TODD!
they have more then 15 different types of silicone lube of a variety of thicknesses & prices. their condoms are overpriced but what sex shop sells cheap condoms?!

Girls, this is the least creepy place locally to buy toys/​lube. And it’s cheaper then every other store i’ve checked out.

Growing up in the Tampa Bay area, there really wasn’t much to do. So I turned my attentions to finding as many porn stores as possible. And, trust me, in Tampa, an activity like that can take up a LOT of time. Tampons, as I am wont to call them, truly like their smut.

If you shift toward the middle of the store, you can find a decent selection of slutty shoes for very reasonable prices. If I were a stripper who worked at the adjacent gentleman’s club called Foxy’s, I would surely come to The Todd for all of my footwear needs.
Onward to the other half of the store — the videos. VHS tapes and DVD discs living together, side-​by-​side in perfect harmony. It’s blissful. Upon my first entrance to The Todd back in 2003, they were mostly stocked with VHS tapes. But as of my last visit in late 2008, they have made a technological advancement and now the upstanding clientele can view their bukkake films in high-​definition. It’s the little things.
