This is going to sound like a bad joke, but we walked into Smiley’s for ice cream on a hundred degree day. We were greeted by a Hasidic Jew and a Hispanic man. The boy let us sample a flavor or two, then gave my husband close to a PINT of ice cream and COVERED it in chocolate chips. The ice cream was delicious!
When we walked outside, we noticed it was a kosher ice cream place. D’oh. Hasidic boy explained.
The tables outside, I’m pretty sure, have never been cleaned. We stuck to them. Terribly.
