History
Established in 2012.
We started in August 11, 2011 as a group buying club. The retail store opened on March 21, 2012 with only 5 bags of rice and beans loaned from our directors which we repackaged and sold. Since then, we have grown gradually into a full-service retail store. The group buying club is still a big component of the co-op offering over 100,000 products. We are grateful for the continual support of the Taos community for supporting a local, volunteer-staffed, and member-owned, cooperative business!
Meet the Manager
Susan M.
Manager
Susan Moore is a university instructor, business consultant, and board member of several non-profits. She is the former director of a Small Business development center, and former owner of a video production company in Everett, Washington. She currently works as Treasure and Manager of the Taos Food Co-op.
She is enthusiastic about growing the co-op into a full-fledged community service organization. She is excited to educate more and more people to eat healthy food.
