History

Established in 2014.

Taos Rock Gym is a veteran owned bouldering gym located in Taos, New Mexico. Being the first bouldering gym in northern New Mexico Taos Rock Gym strives to provide a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment that will benefit new opportunities for all rock climbing enthusiast.

Northern New Mexico offers many opportunities to explore the outdoors! Rock climbing being one of many, but not all have access to the proper training to pursue bouldering. Taos Rock Gym would like to make this possible for you and your family. With more than 2,000 square feet of bouldering terrain Taos Rock Gym provides the community with access to bouldering in a quality facility with a fun atmosphere for climbers of all ages and abilities.

Ryan D.

Business Owner

We all call him crazy, but really he just likes to «have fun.» Ryan is a Veteran who served in the U.S. Army for over 9 years. Cool, calm and collected no matter the situation, he can often be found jumping out of planes, bombing it on a snowboard, or S.C.U.B.A. diving in some remote part of the world. He has a super positive attitude and is always willing to help some one out when they are in need. Ryan has many various degrees and certifications including an Associates degree from Central Texas College, E.M.T. Certification from University of New Mexico, as well as USPA Skydiving Coach Rating and P.A.D.I. Advanced Open Water Diver Cert. Ryan is also a Reiki Master and maintains a open energy healing practice.
