Bob’s Sub

This is my first time here. So I thought I’d give it a shot. Upon entering the store it’s smelled great and was very clean and look pretty nice. I asked what was popular and they made to good suggestions. So I opted for the cheesesteak. What a cool concept of a habit called Bob’s way which is basically loaded with a lot of different ingredients. Pretty different and unique idea.
The Philly cheesesteak however did not live up to its expectations. The meet was a little spongy in the cheese was barely melted. The best part of the sandwich was the toasted bread.
One of the things I thought was pretty cool was rather than asking for your name when taking order they give you a playing card and that becomes your number. So I had the king of spades. It took two calls for me to remember that I was the king of spades. But definitely a cool concept.
It was nice that it was on the end of the plaza. But there was only one outdoor table with four seats. I would think they would want to have more than just a buddy to have four people sit outside on a nice day.

This is a great sub place usually located in college towns.
Today I enjoyed the buffalo chicken sub. The hot sauce is sooo good and the chicken is more like shredded chicken. All subs come with a few standard toppings but there are others you can add for free. The veggies are raw (including mushrooms etc) just so you know. The meat and toppings were generous and filled me up unlike a lot of sub places.
They also have cookies which I never tried and milkshakes. The milkshakes are usually really good and come with a pretzel for a nice sweet-​salty kick.
The cotton candy milkshake here tasted different than at other bob’s sub restaurants that I have been to. At he other ones it was amazing and here it was good but not the same some how.

You save about .60 if you do the combo of added side/​drink.
They gave us a playing card as our «order number» which was cute. So listen for Queen of hearts or two of spades and then go get your order.
