History
Established in 1970.
Dr. Aviva L. Andreen began working with Dr. Gerald B. Greitzer at his Tarrytown office in 2002; Dr. Greitzer has been at this location for over 40 years. Dr. Andreen is delighted to be working with Dr. Greitzer who is at the cutting edge of dental technology doing original research in dental bonding materials which is presented at the International Association of Dental Research. Dr. Andreen is now full-time in private practice, with a background in academics, research and Special Care. She is certified in Enteral Conscious Sedation and has taught all phases of dental care in multiple hospital programs and dental schools including NYUCD and UMDNJ, St. Barnabas, Helen Hayes, St. Clare’s and more. As a LCDR in the USNavyReserve Dental Corps Dr. A received many commendations. Dr. A received the Crest Award for Dentistry in 1996 and many more since. I am passionate about making the patient comfortable with their care using «smart science» behind any procedures I do. I provide care as a service to the patient, proud to hold the title «Doctor of Dental Surgery». I do not ‘sell’ dentistry, I refuse to push patients into spending on unnecessary procedures. There are many options for treatment in dentistry and I recommend «ideal» treatments but discuss the patient’s needs and desires in depth. Good dentistry is not cheap and I work with patients and their insurance to provide the best care possible and keep our fees as low as possible. I not only stay on top of the latest technologies with taking continuing education courses but am proud that I’ve been the one to teach and oversee post-graduate training for many young dentists. I love what I do — helping people stop pain, be able to eat, chew, speak, kiss, and be confident in their smiles is a joy!
