I have been going to Eclipse for over two years and it’s a wonderful salon. Isabella is my stylist & colorist, and I always leave there very pleased with the way she does my hair. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to Eclipse for about 7 years and always am very pleased with how friendly everyone is. They ask if you want water or tea. When you walk in I am immediately greeted with happy faces and eager to assist me. I normally don’t have to wait too long to get my hair washed before my hair cut. They take time to make sure that the water is the correct temperature (I hate hot water) and when I ask them to scratch or massage my head while washing my hair they always do and it feels amazing! My stylist Tattiana has a great sense of style and humor and we always have the best conversations while she is cutting my hair. She listens to me and knows not too cut too much and I appreciate that. I always get a big hug when I leave and of course I always remember to tip both my hair washer and stylist. Oh and I love the hand massages after my hair cut is done.
I highly recommend this salon!

Eclipse is an incredible salon, and I only wished that I lived closer these days. Tattiana is an incredible stylist and I never left the salon feeling anything less than stunning after her cut and colors. 5 stars to a fantastic establishment with skilled stylists!

Very unimpressed. They heavily market to be voted ‘best of westchester’ but they would do better to actually try to be the best instead of marketing for this title. I asked for a bob haircut. The stylist used a quide, and cut my hair two to two and a half inches shorter than I had asked my hair to be cut. I have had a bob style a number of times, and never have I seen a hair dresser use a ‘bob guide’ not to mention it did not look clean! Also, the shampoo guy seemed strange and didn’t offer a pleasant hair wash experience. No hair massage, but that isn’t the biggest deal.
Anyway you can believe these hyped experiences which were prob all marketed if you want, but I am not falling for this anymore. I gave this place a try two years ago and wasn’t impressed, and I thought maybe it would be better now… Nope! I am done ‘giving it a shot’.
Good luck on your hair salon search. I would keep looking.

LOVE it here! I have bounced back and forth between several salons, but I have finally found a place I can’t complain about. The service is above and beyond… hot tea, water, coffee, and magazines offered when you sit down and a complimentary hand massage after your treatment! The staff is lovely and always excited to see familiar faces. I have been going here for several years now, with no plans to stop.

I have been going to Danielle for a year and a half now and would never let anyone else touch my hair– she is amazing! I was referred to her by an associate who swore she was the go-​to for ombré. I went in with dirty blonde, chemically treated, damaged, breaking, splitting hair wanting a dark brown to blonde ombré. She knew exactly what I wanted and my hair looked and felt better than I could’ve ever expected in one visit. Since then she has been working with me to make my hair healthier and longer always giving great advice and recommending products (Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair & treatments) that have shown so much improvement.
This salon is wonderful, very inviting and attentive from the second you walk in. From the hand massages, the owners coming over to make sure everything is going well, to Danielle always accommodating me when I need a last minute appointment, you guys are great!

I’ve switched around stylists quite a lot here (just because I started out with one and ended with a different one and 2 moved) I’m actually saddened that one of them moved because she was a color genius ! I think all of the ladies here are really beautiful and friendly and genuine. The first time I came here she was honest with me that I was hanging on to my dead hair and needed to cut it off to make it healthy again. NO ONE at any other hair salon has been so honest and wow now I have such healthy hair. She cut like 8 inches off and boom I had a pulp fiction look. A year later and I am still a loyal customer. Keep working hard eclipse !!!

Such a wonderful experience at Eclipse. The personal attention from everyone was tops. Marriana does beautiful color and love my cut as well. Lina did a lovely hand and scalp massage. I will be back!

Great salon! Went there after a bad cut and Danielle really listened and cared about what I wanted. She did an amazing job blending and shaping my desired long layered cut, from what looked like Edward Scissorhands created.
Awesome blowout as well.
To make the place even better, I would recommend more confidence from the washing people. He was very timid and kept asking if I was ok. The actual salon was nice but could use some updating and modernization. Will definitely be back!

I never write reviews, but I had to make an exception. I am from Long Island up for a wedding. Unfortunately time did not allow me to get it done at home. I called a few places and got nasty responses for same day being Saturday. I called here and was given a very friendly greeting and the time that I requested. I went there and was treated like a long time customer. Justine and Angela took care of me. And if I did not live soooo far I would definitely be a regular customer. Thank you so much for making something that would have been upsetting a wonderful event. I have gone to so many different stylists here (usually because I schedule so last minute) and every one I have had always did an amazing job. They really know how to make sure they’re hiring people there that know 100% what they’re doing and can do it with perfection.
I had terrible highlights done at a previous salon where my roots were a rusty orange, my mid-​shaft was ice blonde and my ends were stripy dark brown with the ice blonde — AWFUL.
Theresa was able to correct it by blending and toning it flawlessly in the first visit.
Unlike every other salon, she really examined the condition of my hair that the previous salon left it in (which was breaking everywhere). She made sure to be extremely delicate and warn everyone else to do the same with it. She made sure to avoid all severely damaged sections of my hair with any processing that would break it further.
I came in looking like a two-​year-​old did my roots and highlights and left with beautifully blended blonde that has perfect dimension.
You truly do get what you pay for when it comes to hair color. Spending the extra money at a salon that knows what they’re doing ends up saving your hair and avoiding extra money spent on corrective color.
Always extremely pleasant, attentive and professional staff. Can’t say enough!

I’ve had a good experience with haircuts here– I see Ashley and think she’s fantastic (my husband likes her too).
I’m giving two stars because the last time I got my eyebrows done here, the waxer literally ruined them, and I’m so sad about it. I had healthy looking brows, which she shaped into asymmetrical, pencil-​thin, creepy looking things. I look like I’m constantly surprised. They look terrible growing out. I absolutely hate them.
Bottom line– great for cuts. Do NOT get a wax here. Just awful.

I could not be happier. Matt does my cut and color.
The double process which requires a higher level of skill is always seamless and radiant. His cut grows in beautifully. Always manageable and neat even if I am delayed getting in.
The staff is like family and take pride in the clean and stylish salon. I had to wait and be persistent to get the opportunity to be Matt’s client, but it was worth it. No wonder they are ”Best of Westchester’.

I’ve been a client of this salon for more than 10 years.
For color, Matt — he is one of the owners — is terrific. No matter how many times he has handled my hair, he always asks what I’d like to do, if I’m happy with the color and outcomes. On the few times that I’ve had a concern or suggestion, Matt takes care of it, and the result is always beautiful-​looking hair!
For cuts, I’ve been to Mark (the other owner), Jessica and Kathleen. No complaints with any of these stylists, they know what they are doing, and aim to please.
The salon can get busy, but it is always clean, the staff are helpful, and the Aveda experience (tea, complimentary hand massage, etc) and products are great. Also be prepared to book appointments well in advance.

The professional stylists at this salon are beyond amazing. From the the friendly receptionist to the fabulous owners this salon is by far top notch. I have worked with stylist Theresa and she is a true artist when it comes to her craft. She has taken care of my hair and cut and styled it to perfection. Being a woman of color, I have hair that requires a trained professional who is confident dealing with different textures. She is wonderful and I would recommend her for all hair types, styles, and cuts.

Was here for a haircut and color last week. I absolutely love this place. It’s a great experience from the friendly smiles at the front desk to my appointment where I am always offered Aveda tea (yum!).
I have been a loyal customer for about 3 years and refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I love the way it looks and feels; The compliments I get from strangers through the course of the next month are even more reason to feel good.
I highly recommend Eclipse for all of your beauty needs!

I’ve been here twice — once for a haircut and once for a manicure/​pedicure.
I think I saw a junior level stylist when I got my hair cut here, since I made the appointment last minute. She was professional, and gave me a decent haircut. I’m very picky about my haircuts, but I think she understood what I wanted and did a great job. I also love that they use Aveeda products! She gave me her information at the end of my appointment, but wasn’t pushy, which I respected. There’s nothing worse than a pushy stylist! At the end of my appointment, I also got a free hand massage, which was amazing! The girl used a beaded exfoliating lotion that got all the dead skin off, and massaged my hands for a good 5 minutes — at no extra cost! Nice!
I was disappointed in my nail experience here. I booked a french manicure/​pedicure and wasn’t happy at the colors she chose — the base color on my toes was too pink. When I told her this, she said she’d switch and give me a lighter color for my nails, and even offered to redo my toes. Since I was in a hurry, I didn’t accept the offer, but I appreciated it. I wasn’t that happy with the way my nails looked. I know that everyone has varying opinions of french manicures, but I thought this just looked a little sloppy. To boot, neither the manicure or pedicure lasted more than a day without starting to chip. I know I’m hard on my nails, but for the price, I expected this to last at least 3 days! I won’t be going back here to get my nails done, but I would go back for my hair.

I ended up going back for color after all. Sooner rather than later. It was crazy a$$ expensive but it looks Really Good! Jessica did an amazing job of sorting through my past color «transgressions» and I am so glad to have found a stylist who not only gives a great cut but is a whiz with the color. Shout out props to Jessica! :)
Long overdue update: though was happy with those experiences things went south and I never went again. I just did not feel as if they treated me respectfully and for the price it was just not worth continuing. It is very unfortunate when these things happen as it s always better to have a go to place but I guess they just did not need me.
