I went for my first visit yesterday and had a very pleasant experience.
Dr. Goldstone was personable and very professional.
He gave me a complete examination and prescription within 20 minutes.
He answered all questions regarding my eye health as well as any financial.concerns.
I picked out some frames from his wide selection and I was on my way!
I’ll be back next time for sure.

I’m so happy our eye insurance changed and I happened onto Dr. Goldstone. I selected him after this change along with his great Unilocal reviews which I now know were well deserved. He is as professional and friendly as all the other reviewers painted him. He suggested a contact lens change that gave me not only better vision than I’ve had in several years but at a fraction of the cost I had been paying in the past. After my visit today, my husband now has an appointment for himself next week. He is a win/​win.

He is an upstanding guy and excellent optometrist, he truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to accommodate their needs.
Dr Goldstone is thorough, detailed and takes his time with his exams.
My experience with him has always been top notch, and he’s the only person I trust with my eyes.

My husband and I saw Dr. Goldstone for the first time. I have to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever been to an optometrist before. Always just had my eyes checked in school. He was a delight. Funny, relaxed and you can tell he loves what he does. He treats his staff wonderfully. They were all laughing when we walked in. Dr. Goldstone explained each step of the eye exam. It was refreshing having a doctor tell you what was going on. His assistant Maria was great at responding to my emails and text messages quickly when dealing with the insurance. Bummed we only have to go once a year. But what I do know is that I’ll look forward to next years visit. Ohh not to mention he has a wonderful selection of designer sunglasses and glasses. You would be a fool not to go to him. Oh did I mention he’s a Star Wars fan! May the force be with you

I CALLED DR GOLDSTONE YESTERDAY, TO ADVISE THAT MY RIGHT EYE FOR MY CONTACT WAS BLURRY, SINCE I HAD A ANNUAL CHECKUP WITH Him the latter part of July! He told me that he can see me that this that day but it will cost me $ 75 so I said why just saw you two months ago and the last time I came to you, last year you just told me to calm down and try a different contact! As I do not have $ 75 when I just saw you two months ago so he said the cheapest I could do was 50 so I said wow OK I read you loud and clear you’re not interested in me you’re interested in the Money! I will never come back to a doctor that doesn’t have my interest at heart before money especially my eyesight! What a way to walk over the dollars to pick up the PENNIES!!!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Goldstone for over 6 years now. He’s been absolutely terrific year in and out. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Goldstone is the best I have been coming with him for years. I have recommended him to my friends and they alway come back to see him, I also love Maria (receptionist) because she will help you out if you ask her for her opinion about picking the type of glasses.

Now I know getting your eyes checked is not top on everyone’s list… but hey it’s totally necessary so why not go someplace that is easy and thorough and not a rip off? Right here in the Valley I found the perfect doctor and vision shop!
First, there is parking in the back or the street. BUT this is right across from the Whole Foods and I parked in their garage and walked over. Either way it’s easily accessible.
Next, you really get personal one on one care. The Dr. is totally professional and knows his stuff. I asked so many stupid questions and he answered every one, making sure I truly understood my eyes and what was going on. I thought my sight had gotten worse, when in reality they had improved with a recent pregnancy. Go hormones! Anyhow he knew exactly what to do.
I needed new glasses and contacts… let me tell you that his prices are ON POINT. Why wait for online when they were cheaper with him? His selection may seem small, but to me all the BS glasses were taken out which is smart. His selection is of the best sellers and top trends, plus a few of the basics. Perfect assortment! AND he keeps contacts in stock, so I can pop in whenever I need more and get them same day. Woohoo!
If you are looking for a serious but quick and painless eye checkup, this is your place. He takes most insurances and explains everything before you pay. I’ll be seeing Dr. Goldstone once a year from here on out :-)

Parking in rear. Location is kinda hard to find but I would definitely recommend him.

I came to this place on Saturday to see if I can get some glasses quick. I forgot the guy that help me. I think it was Dr.Goldstone. I gave him my paper from Kaiser and then he showed me the glasses. After that he gave me a good price which is not bad if your insurance doesn’t cover glasses and told me my glasses will be here Tuesday. I think I’ll be coming to him for my glasses and sun glasses for now on.

Great experience. I took my 9 year old and Dr. Goldstone was amazing with him. My son was very comfortable with the doctor and he wants to come back for his next check up.

My wife and I went to Dr Goldstone this morning for a routine eye exam and new glasses. I’m relatively new to eye exams and glasses where my wife had been wearing them her whole life. When I told Dr. Goldstone my problems and troubles, he new exactly what I meant and needed. He was very patient and knowledgeable when it came to my novice understanding regarding eye wear. He joked with is and was real funny and enjoyable. After both or eye exams, he helped me with lenses and frames and walked the show room with us. He then took his time explaining how the insurance worked and what we pay for. He even gave us demonstrations with his own personal glasses. He didn’t try to upsell anything and even told us what would not benefit my eyes.
All and all, a great experience and we would definitely recommend Dr Goldstone to others.

Absolutely AMAZING! I’ve been wearing glasses for 15+ years and Dr. Goldstone is by far the best optometrist I’ve been to in Los Angeles. He was charming, knowledgable and patient. If you need glasses, contacts or an eye exam definitely go see Dr. Goldstone!

My wife has been going to Dr. Goldstone for years. He has been consistently very professional and has offered exemplary service. His pricing has always been fair, the quality of the frames and lenses have been top notch. In short, he runs a classy and trustworthy operation, which we are very confident recommending to friends and associates.
Dr. Goldstone is highly knowledgeable and, perhaps more importantly, he is attentive to his patient’s needs and concerns. If you want to be treated like a unique human being and offered individualized care, even if it is just for your first pair of glasses, this is the man to see.

All these glowing reviews and my experience was so awful. Bought a pair of glasses but after three days one of the lenses popped out. Went back, had it put back in, then it happened again after about a week. Went back, and after another couple of weeks the other lens popped out. I asked for a new pair but Dr Goldstone wouldn’t replace them. Then after the fifth time he said the warranty was up! And I only had them three months, and already been in for repair five times! I was really shocked at his attitude, that he was not going to stand behind his product. Well, long story short, he finally realized the wrong thickness of lenses had been used all along, and ordered new lenses. All this driving back and forth for nothing. Now the kicker, in 6 months one of the temples broke clean off, not a screw missing but a fracture of the metal. I am not rough on glasses and have never had this problem in my life. I want to support local business but the service here was poor, «the customer is always wrong» attitude and flimsy products. I am very happy with my new optometrist by the way, his competition treated me very well and values my business.

Dr. Goldstone is awesome! We had a misunderstanding about how my vision insurance works in regards to exchanging frames/​glasses, but in the end, he made it crystal clear (unlike my focus) and he made some accommodations that I really appreciated. As long as I have the same vision insurance, I am not changing providers!

I have had the best experience ever! Dr Goldstone has the most advanced equipment. No BS Eye exam on the spot. He is very very good. I can not stop telling everyone i know to have him do an eye exam. He also carrys affordable frames and lenses.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a doctor in network. Walked in a was impressed with the friendly staff and Dr. Goldstone was great. Highly recommended if you need a optometrist you can trust.

Dr. Goldstone is fantastic. I met him several years ago when he was at the old For Eyes. He is very thorough and good with patients like me who are eye exam phobic. Also he carries very fashionable frames and he and his assistant have great taste and will help you find glasses to suit your face and vibe. Highly recommended!
