Every hour is happy hour. Great sushi place to go to if you’re trying to save money. Although it’s not the best in the area. The sushi isn’t as good as other places. I highly recommend going to Revolving Sushi(Cho Cho San) it’s less than a mile away from this location.

Usually good on Fridays !!! But not this time. The sushi chef got really crabby at us. What’s with that? Aren’t you supposed to make food with love? Not here. So long as the a/c is ON!!! P A L E E Z

Most horrible service I came across to. Sitting at the restaurant right now for 40 minutes and all I got is shishito peppers

The spicy sushi salad here is to die for! Like that’s what brings me here every time! Trust me, try it. As far as the sushi goes… It’s just not that good, I’m sorry. But that salad is reason enough to come here!

I think this is the worst customer service in the country. These people don’t know how to run a restaurant. The chefs are not nice at all. Do not ask for ginger they will have a heart attack. The food is ok.

Tried this place for the first time today, since it’s close to my work. I wish I’d gone else where. I ordered for myself and two others in my office. While they had my order ready when I made it to the restaurant, the food was waiting on an empty table. That should have been my first sign. I got back to the office and I will say first my rolls had a funny smell to them, and upon tasting them they both did not taste fresh ATALL, and awhile later my stomach was turning and cramping. Not good at all. While eating my food my coworker came in and I asked him how his sushi turned out. He said he never tasted it cause the fish in his rolls had discoloration and a funny smell so he threw the food away and grabbed some fries from a business next door. The other coworker was t to fond of the food either. While this was my first time here, it will be my last as well as my coworkers. Only leaving one star, cause Unilocal forces you to leave something.

I have been coming to this place since I was 7 years old and I am now almost 24. It’s a small intimate sushi setting and great for small parties or solo trips on your lunch break. The salmon is always fresh and amazing. I usually get a BSCR, spicy yellowtail, salmon and please please please if you aren’t allergic to shell fish get the lobster hand roll! It’s now called the crazy hand roll and all this food is beyond the best when prepared by Sam the sushi chef! He is usually the last station if you come in from the front and the first station if you enter from the back! Again I love this place and come religiously.

We got our food 1 hour later. We placed another order but to go when we finally got our food. It took them 2 hours. Tiffany our server was terrible. We didnt get any refill, when we asked. We had to look for her to get our food. She placed our order wrong. It was three simple rolls. While we were waiting for our«to go food» we order sake which we never got. The people behinds us also complained about how long it was taking them. They got a free sake. Horrible service. The sad part the restaurant wasn’t full.

I have been to this place 3 times, and I would say its a well deserved 3.5 star sushi restaurant. The restaurant itself is like an old house, when you walk in; you can absolutely feel that you walk in to someone’s house. Some people like this style but I do not. I always sit by the bar so that I can order chef’s favorite and I can ask my not ending questions. The chefs are very nice, they are super busy and they always take care of the customers who are sitting by the bar, but it takes a while. This restaurant is always understaffed. The service is slow but they don’t forget your order. The quality of fish is consistently fresh and clean. You can always taste the pure taste of sushi and sashimi here. I like the surprising taste of food.

I come here many times with my boyfriend and we love that it is decent sushi for a low price. I personally love their baked mussels, yellow tail, salmon, and garlic edamame the best. Ana is their manager, i believe, and she is always super sweet to us and makes us feel welcomed. Fast service is usually what we get because we sit at the bar, but there are times when it is crowded and it can be a bit slow but that is expected, after all, a crowd means business. Other staff members are great too. Ask for Sam the chef, he is the best. Parking can be tricky as it is on a major street. You can either park on the street and pay the meter or try and find parking in the back, which is shared with other business, so it is limited. Other than that, i recommend it to everyone. I love coming here.

I understand the concept of yoi get what you pay for, but this place really suks. Cons– the customer service sucks I’m not sure if it’s because the food is cheap but the server was rude to me . The sushi is not fresh and during taste good at all. Pros — dirt cheap for sushi

Soooo good and fresh!. Found my new fav go to spot! My bff and I wanted to find a sushi spot to feed our sushi craving. I passed by this spot omy to run errands and noticed the ½ off sign and was intrigued. I did some research, read the Unilocal reviews and decided to try it out. We had the Kamalazi roll, BSCR roll, Jewish roll, and rice cake with spicy tuna. Boy oh boy was there a party going on in my mouth! Each bite was sooo good and fresh and so full of flavor. We were full and very satisfied. I am so glad we dined their because it will now be my new sushi joint.

So I dragged my boyfriend back here and the owner apologized because she remembered our last experience. Have been back a few times since then and it’s been wonderful. I just know now to ALWAYS sit at the bar. Great place, great food, great prices.

Crazy Tokyo Sushi. Hey, I just meet you and this is CRAZY but here’s my number call me maybe?! I don’t know why that song popped up in my head when I started to write this review. Does it really matter? You’re still reading this right now. Anyway, this is my go to dinner spot when I’m meeting some of my BFFs who live in Reseda. The service is good and very attentive. I never had an issue here. There is another location down the street but we usually go to this one. The décor is not the best and totally screams mom n’ pop shop. However, I totally dig it like Joe Dirt’s motto«Life is a garden. Dig it.» The comida. Okay. This is definitely not Sushi Zo, Yamakase, Urasawa or any of those high end sushi spots in Los Angeles. I don’t come here for Omakase. I come here for a decent meal, my sushi fix, a few beers, cheap sake, and to eat rolls drenched in soy sauce. It’s totally your everyday sushi spot and the sashimi to rice ratio is pretty good. Is it the freshest fish? Absolutely not. Does it need to be? Absolutely not. Do most Unilocalers know what they’re talking about? Absolutely not. Crazy Tokyo Sushi is a great place to grab dinner and drinks without putting too much effort into it like when a man has been with the same women for a few years. No effort at all. Here are some of my favorites: 1) Albacore with fried onions — The Albacore is laid in a light sauce and topped with fried onions. It’s pretty good for being what it is and the fried onions add a crunch to the soft albacore. 2) Mussels — The mussels are topped with green onions, salmon roe, and drenched in a sauce. There’s a sweetness to the sauce and the salmon roe adds a hint of saltiness to it. Overall, Crazy Tokyo Sushi has yet to disappoint me because I’m not expecting high end sushi or a Michelin rated restaurant experience. I come here for a decent meal and to spend some time with some of the people I can stand. Lastly, it’s funny cause I was going through the reviews for Crazy Tokyo Sushi. The people who have negative things to say about them are the same people who complain about the cost of upscale restaurants like about a week ago. A week ago. A week ago.
