Dr Levy is one of the best doctors I have had, they just don’t come this way anymore.
Yes she is old school, yes her office is outdated and yes her staff (of one) isn’t the greatest BUT, Dr Levy has a great bed side manner, she takes the time to listen and most importantly know her stuff! She has helped me through alot, Thank You to Dr Levy for taking great care of me for the past 10yrs.

Just love dr Levy she takes her time with you explains everything so you understand she has helped me immensely without her I wouldn’t know what to do. Thank you so much

Don’t bother calling or having her as her Dr. They have horrible front office service and got a discrimination thing, they hung up on me when I called thru my personal relay and then obviously wouldn’t make an appointment when they accepted us to be patients.

Dr levy spends a lot of time with her patients.
In turn causes some back up and longer than usual wait.
But worth the wait.
I have been her patient for 10 years and have been very happy

Wanted to change my PCP but wanted to confirm they were taking new patients before I made the change online.
I called and asked They stated they were not I said «ok thank you» they responded by hanging up.

I just got off the phone with Dr. Levy’s office. I have never experienced such nasty service from a medical office, and I visit 25+ medical offices weekly for work (legal industry). I recently chosen Dr. Levy as my primary care physician through Anthem Blue Cross and called to make my first appointment. The phone was ringing for about 10 minutes, and then a female answered and she was very snippy and rude and just plain nasty and hung up the phone on me as I was trying to make an appointment.

Oh my goodness I cant understand the negative reviews! Dr. Levy has been our doctor for the past 10 years. SHE SAVED MY LIFE!!! If it wasnt for her persistence with my HMO insurance company for an MRI we would never have found my breast cancer last year!!! She is so patient kind and caring, she has to be with my husband who has such a hard time managing his health! Yes her office wait can be long, but from the doctors (onco/​obgyn/​plastic surgeon/​mastectomy surgeon) Ive been seing since my diagnosis what office doesnt have long wait times? I love that she is direct, tells it like it is, doesnt BS you. SHES AWESOME!

I took both my parents to Dr. Levy (they need me there to translate), and was very impressed by her caring nature and professionalism.
Although my parents have HMO, I can see that she spent more time with them than most PPO doctors would. I have had PPO for a long time, and all of the Doctors I have seen never spent that much time with me.
Dr. Levy is very nice, patient and caring. She even remembers a certain health problem my mom had 3 months after her appointment, when I took my dad to her office for a check-​up.
I totally feel comfortable, and trust Dr. Levy with my parents’ health, knowing how caring and knowledgeably she is.
Due to the amount of time she spends with her patients, I think it is reasonable to accept the fact that she would run late sometimes. I think there is a trade-​off there. I would rather wait longer to see a good doctor than get an on-​time appointment with some doctors who do not care.

Had an appointment today and was seen on time. I don’t understand the negative reviews about her and the office staff. Perhaps the reviewers who had negative experiences should step back and examine themselves and look at the whole picture… you’ll attract more flies with honey than with vinegar.

She’s our family new Doctor and so far so good. I needed an appointment on Friday afternoon for the «pink eye» since my eyes were so red and itchy and she was able to see me @ 4.00 PM. The wait time was horrible, more than 1 ½ hour, but at least I got the right medication for my eyes right before the weekend, not going to the URGENT CARE for such a small health issue. She seemed very knowledgeable, she was very nice to me and she listened to any concerns I had.

After seeing the great reviews on Unilocal,I chose Dr. Levy as my PCP. Getting an appointment with her is difficult seeing that they DO NOT answer their calls. I tried calling 4x within 3 days and finally got an answer on my last try, but was placed on hold for quite some time. When I asked to schedule an appointment, the receptionist asked if I’ve been there before and if I have a PPO. I stated that I have an HMO and listed Dr. Levy as my PCP. She questioned me as if I was a child. «Is Dr. Levy your doctor?» «Yes.» «And is Dr. Levy listed ON YOUR CARD?» Where else would I have gotten the contact information?
Basically, this office isn’t worth the time or effort. It shouldn’t be so difficult to get an appointment and the front office staff was just plain rude. There is another review that «isn’t recommended.» I suggest reading that since the general demeanor seems consistent with what I experienced.

I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor. She listens, is thorough and very attentive. I was happy to of found her.

Without a doubt one of the best doctors in Los Angeles. She takes the time to get to know her patients as people, not just chart numbers. Her work is always complete and accurate. It is a pleasure to work with her.
