Like other negative reviews, I should say Dr. Kadze is always rushed! if you’d like to have a doctor who spends more than 2 minutes with you and listens to your questions patiently, consider another doctor. She always overbooks the appointments and waiting time in her office is too long.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kadze having seen her for the very first time recently. She has a very friendly and warm personality that puts you at ease. I was nervous finding a good dr close to me and am very grateful for her! I did have to wait about an hour but I understand afternoons are very busy. My next appt is in the morning and I will see if I fare any better. Thank you Dr Kadze!

Unbelievable what I had to experience today. If I can rate this practice a lower score I would. Dr. Kadze called to follow up on an appointment today, she referred me to her office assistant to schedule an appointment. I was transparent about my timing with the assistant, and how important it was to be seen by the doctor at my scheduled appointment. I mentioned to the assistant over the phone; «If my visit is extended due to the wait time on my my appointment date, I don’t get paid for missed time at work, it’s crucial I’m seen at my scheduled appointment». I also mentioned they might be overbooking appointments. No offense intended. I was just letting them how I felt about the wait time. This is prudent information and should be taken in consideration.
To my surprise, the Doctor was confrontational with me, she called me back to reiterate the assistant’s version of our conversation by saying the following; «She said you were complaining about how I run my business, by overbooking appointments», What a terrible way to spin what was said. During the conversation the Dr. went on about how insurance doesn’t pay the same rates or something along those lines, if she doesn’t book many appointments, then she won’t make money. She also mention she hasn’t taken a paycheck in a month. I told her; I wasn’t interested in her financial situation. This information should remain confidential not shared with your patients. If you haven’t taken a paycheck I wonder why? Bad business.
Then she tried to apologize, basically said; if I wanted my medical record information (so I could go somewhere else). I can read between the lines. Her apology was not sincere. I was so upset I hung up.
From past experiences, I’m never been seen at the time of my scheduled appointment. It has become a recurring pattern with this practice. The other concern is also finding a Doctor that spends more than 5 minutes with you per visit. I’m not getting the quality of service one deserves. I heard commentaries from other patients on how the wait time was ridiculous. After today I will never go back to this practice.
I hope you can take this information for what is worth and digest it. I was extremely disappointed by today’s phone conversation with Dr. Kadze and her assistant.

I have been a patient of Dr K for years. I can tell you that her practice has gone south. Every time I go for an appointment, I wait. And wait, and wait. If I have a 10 a.m. appointment, I expect to be seen around 10 a.m. Not, 11:15. That has happened a few times. And I don’t think I’m the only one. Her waiting room is full. While u are in the room with her, she is very nice. But you will only get a minute of her time. And she’s out of there. The good thing is that she is very quick. In and out very quick. But if you want to get a second of her time after she leaves the room, you will get one second of her time. In the hall of her office. And billing sucks. I paid a bunch in her office and was sent another bill. Then I went to her office again shortly thereafter and was told I have an outstanding balance. What the heck?!? How many times? 3 times? That’s not normal. I probably have another bill on its way. Her office staff are OK. No real comments there. There are pros and cons with Dr K. Proceed cautiously.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kadze’s office for over 4 years and she has always been very caring and attentive to my needs. I was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I switched OB’s. I really feel she has the patients best interest at heart.

I barely ever write reviews and I can’t remember the last time I went to a Dr’s appointment and had such a flawless and great experience. At this point most of my Dr’s appointments I have to wait at least an hour before I’m seen. My appointment was at 2:15. I don’t think I waited more than ten minutes before I was called back to an examination room. I was greeted by a couple of lovely, very friendly nurses who took my blood pressure and after just a few more minutes Dr Kadze came in. (Again, usually once I’m taken back to an examination room, I can wait another ½hour to 45minutes before the Dr shows up). Dr Kadze was so personable and friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, she put me right at ease. Ten more minutes and I was done. Seriously, it was probably the best Dr’s appointment I’ve ever had, and the quickest. I can’t say enough great things about my experience today. I wish all my Dr’s were like this. Thank you!

I seriously love Dr. Kadze. I have been her patient now for several years, and recommend her to everyone I know. Aside from being incredibly professional and intelligent, she is also extremely friendly and personable. As if I already didn’t love her enough, when I was suffering from extreme pain in the middle of the night a few months ago, I paged her at 3:00 am and she personally returned my call within minutes. She then allowed me to come in early before her office opened the next morning. She is seriously the best.

Seriously the coolest doctor ever! She’s so chill, laid back and really easy to talk to. This is my first pregnancy so I don’t really know what I’m doing, but she definitely made me feel right at ease answered all my questions and I’m happy I found a doctor who’s so down to earth and nice! It’s really hard to find one. Being new to LA it seems like there’s a lot of doctors out here and would take a really long time to find a good one, but with the help of Unilocal and my insurance I’m on the right track!

Dr. Kadze is warm and super friendly. I had been seeing her during my first and second trimester. I had a kidney infection during my first trimester and after the ER visit she called me right away to check up on me and then personally called me again later. Her staff was always nice to me so I never had any issues. I will say that late afternoon appts can have you waiting. I always booked with her after lunch or first thing in morning. She’s a popular lady! My original birth plan was to have a home birth, but since I have been experiencing slight high blood pressure I’m no longer a candidate. Therefore, I’ve decided to go with a dr. /​midwife team for my birth plan. I will definitely continue seeing Lana for GYN annual checkups, however. She’s great!

I feel the same as many of these negative reviews, so I know I wasn’t observing the office incorrectly.
While the doctor is kind, she is always rushed. I feel like if I was pregnant I’d get more attention there. My health is still important and I will always have questions and observations to share. I just didn’t feel like I was being heard or advised enough.
The staff made me feel unwelcome. I don’t want to go to the gyno in the first place, so it would help to give off good vibes but I just wasn’t feeling it.
Obviously, many patients love her, so maybe you will too.

Dr. Kadze is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She is kind, caring, available. listens, and gentle with her exams. She is so good I referred her to one of my daughters who was just as happy with Dr. Kadze as I am.
What prompted me to write a review after the many years of great service was the amazing help I just received from Claudia, one of Dr. Kadze’s caring staff members.

Great experience. Dr Kadze was thorough, professional and kind. She appeared very interested in my issues. I highly recommend her without reservation.

I learned of Dr. Kadze through a friend who works in the insurance industry and I will say this right off the bat, like the reviewers of previous posts, her staff are «rude» or seem «detached». I will say right now, they were beyond pleasant to me. However, I initiated a lot of the «how I would like to be treated» attitude. Of course, I had 9 months to build this relationship, a relationship I have every intention or nurturing.
Dr. Kadze’s staff does indeed come off as unattached. However, if you are with her in the long haul, you will not be disappointed. I love (LOVE) and live my life with sarcastic humor **insert Curb Your Enthusiasm music here and picture Larry David** so… this office was the one for me. :)
I fell in LOVE with Kadze the moment I met her. Honest! From our initial meeting, it was pretty much «this is your second? ok so… you know what to expect». When I answered «I’ll be thin and pretty?» and she laughed with me… I knew she was the one for me.
In December, when we went to Las Vegas for Christmas/​My Birthday/Anniversary/Babymoon…I asked Dr. Kadze «so.I can eat like a tiny bite of tuna right?»…her smile and nod while saying «no» had me on the floor… my relationship with Dr. Kadze is something I will forever cherish. *by the way… this was later confirmed that although you would LIKE to eat it… the answer is NO!*
This was all through the months of her care… this banter back and forth and me constantly asking the office staff, at every appointment how they are doing. How are things in there lives. How are their kids… etc. They have become my extended family in a way.
When I was ready to deliver my second child, we drove to Tarzana Hospital and Dr. Kadze was immediately contacted. WHILE I was checking in! When I went upstairs to L&D, it was confirmed that my contractions were 2 – 3 minutes apart. *Tarzana Hospital is AWESOME as well!*
The day I was ready to deliver, we were having some difficulties. I could tell by the look on the nurses face that my second princess might not be coming out like my first. The look was confirmed by Dr. Kadze later. As you all know, a C-​section is not the most enjoyable way of delivery. I was angry, sad and mostly upset with my body for not allowing my second to deliver like my first one. Of course, I displaced my anger towards the two closest people in my life… my Doctor and my husband. Of course my Doctor understood but assured me that I am in great hands. Well, of COURSE I am in great hands… I knew she was there and so was my husband.
Throughout the whole process, I could hear and see Dr. Kadze. We thought that the umbilical cord was wrapped around our baby only once. Nope… TWO times. That is the reason poor Princess K was not coming out.
When Dr. Kadze placed Princess K on my chest, I was deeply touched. The speed in which when I finally said «let’s go to the operation room» and how quickly Princess K was presented to me.
Fast forward a few days after delivery, I arrived at her office and immediately when I walked in… all the office girls asked me how I was doing and that they were «sorry to hear that Princess K wanted to come out C-section…but she’s beautiful and you look great!».
My saddest day, was over 2 months ago when Dr. Kadze said to me «I’ll see you in 5 months!». I realized… I will no longer see her office monthly and weekly. I will now only see her every six months.
If you are still wondering if Dr. Kadze is the one for you… take my story and take my suggestion. If she is on your plan… GRAB HER WHILE YOU CAN.
Just remember, an OB is a RELATIONSHIP. With it, comes their «Significant others or office spouses (this case, front office/​nurse/​office mgr)»…you need to nurture all those relationships too.

What a great experience! I heard wonderful things about Dr. Kadze from five (!!!) different women all over LA who had their babies under her care. I sure was not disappointed, Dr. Kadze is a true professional. I know I’m a new client and only came here once for my tests but trust me, I’ve been to so many different OBGYNs that I can tell a good one from a bad one by just the first couple of questions they ask.
During the appointment she really took time to get to know me and tell me more about herself. Funny, honest, very soon it felt like I’m talking to a good friend I’ve known forever.
After the appointment she actually cared enough to call me back in and let me know that one of the tests I was about to take was very pricey and is usually not covered by most of the plans. She explained where to call, gave me all the numbers and told me about different options I had in order to avoid a ridiculous bill later. First time I see a doctor doing that.
A few days later she personally called me to let me know my test results were fine. Never seen a doctor doing that after a regular check as well, considering how busy her office is.
Lastly, her staff… Ladies, they are not rude, they are Russian:) when we Russians look like a grumpy cat, that’s actually our happy face:)))

Dr. Kadze is my favorite doctor! She is so kind, understanding and professional. She always takes her time with you and give her utmost attention. She is a real gem.

I absolutely Love Dr. Kadze and her Staff. She has been my OBGYN for 5 years. I have one healthy son and tried to have more children. I am a high risk pregnancy so I was seeing her and a specialist. Unfortunately, I have had two stillborn babies which she helped me get through the deliveries. Most people may not understand that when your baby passes late in pregnancy you still have to deliver. You deliver a baby that never opens their eyes. Instead of a birth certificate you are given a death certificate. This experience has forever changed me. Not only is she a doctor I consider her a true gift. At a time I was so depressed she took it upon herself to change my appointments to her lunch time or after hours so I didn’t have to see other women pregnant after my deliveries. I would cry just driving over to her office. She knew the signs of depression and PTS and she found me a psychiatrist that I still see to this day. She cared enough to get me the help I needed. Her staff has always been kind and very helpful.
Have I waited in her office for appointments Yes… but for good reason! She is delivering babies or helping patients like me deliver their still borns. Babies don’t have a schedule so when you are seeing an OBGYN that delivers babies you have to expect that. She is worth the wait. She is down to earth, professional and one of a kind.
I would highly recommend her! I thank her for everything she has done for myself and my family. I still had to be a mom to my lil guy and because of her I received the help I needed. I am a college educated professional. I have never had depression or anything of that nature beforehand. Its unreal what going through having a still born does on the psyche. Yet alone two. I have two angels in heaven. and I truly believe Dr. Kadze saved my life.
So for everything she has done for me and probably the extra time I took from the others who had to wait in the waiting room a little longer. I am sorry. I wish I could give her way more than 5 stars! So I really wish people would think about others when they are complaining of the wait time etc. Its not like she is sitting in her office having coffee. She is busy helping others and bring beautiful life into this world.

Dr. Kadze is great. Very personable. My pap was fast and efficient like I like em. I was in the waiting room for a bit, but that doesn’t bother me all that much.
Why the poor rating? The staff members I experienced seem to be unhappy with their life decisions. Very rude. From looking over the other reviews I seem to not be alone in my experience. The cherry on top is I’m now dealing with being double billed. I paid my copay in-​office, however they seemed to have neglected to pass that info along to their billing company. **Thumbs up**
If Dr. Kadze cleans house on her staff I’ll consider returning.

If I could give this review 0 stars I would. First her office is very busy and she has very rude staff that seems like they don’t care about anything what’s going on. They barely pick up the phone when you are trying to call them, so it’s almost impossible to reach her when you really need to ask her something or if you are having an emergency.
Dr. Kadze seems very popular and since she makes her waiting room over loaded with the patients, you don’t get a chance to spend enough time with your doctor as you would like. She is always in a rush.
I was under her care with my twin boys for 6 month. Every visit she would spend no more than 10 mins and would say everything looks great. A week later I had an appointment with my high risk doctor (since I have twins) and he said that one of my babies doesn’t have enough fluid, and i could miscarried them if I would come a day later. So for what I was paying Dr. Kadze ?! To loose my kids?! Finally I switched my OB and almost due with my boys. So ladies don’t even waste your time going there.

I witnessed this doctor play extreme favoritism. Her bedside manner is extremely unprofessional. Under her care my sister lost her baby. While at the hospital she never once introduced herself, never explained to my sister nor our family why the baby stopped growing and never offered her condolences to the family. During my sister’s last visit she referred to my sister as «fluffy» when making a call to the hospital, which leads me to believe why my sister was not one of her favorites and apparently not worth her time. The name and sight of this woman causes emotional distress to my whole family. Proceed with extreme caution if you are considering the care of this woman.

Dr. Kadze is clearly popular.
My personal opinion isn’t that great. I’ve gone to see her twice.
1: The desk lady (one or more or all of them) are rude. I mean straight up walking away telling yourself ‘what a *#$ing bitch’ rude. I see I’m not alone in thinking this as others have pointed it out. The first time I came was also my first time in the area. Actually I had just moved to LA all together. I knew I was in the right place but I called to see if I could get more specific directions.
Desk Lady: «What do you mean. You can’t just see the building.»
Me Thinking: I’m sorry I’m so stupid. I mean after all the zero times I’ve been there I should have every nook of the building memorized. The unmarked building full of offices surrounded by other unmarked buildings full of offices. *wow this is going to be a great day*
No she didn’t give me directions by the way. Every conversation with them thereafter steadily got worse. Why the doctor would risk her credibility with such awful staff is beyond me. I wouldn’t tolerate it.
2: It is very very clear she overbooks. When you have 6+ patients milling about the waiting room and halls I guarantee they aren’t getting quality time with her. I’m sure I was simply lucky to have been graced by her presence at all. I don’t think she spoke more than 15 words to me between the times I was there.
I only ever went to her for simple things so I can’t say how she handles more involved patients and I’m not so sure I want to. (After all I would be cutting into the other 6 people hovering arounds time).
