St. George Inn & Suites

Was terribly inconvenienced!
I had made reservation over the phone w/​my visa, paid Über for a ride, only to be told during my check-​in that they have their own policy of only accepting state issued drivers license, not state issued ID (i.e., California DL not California ID).
This left me frantic to find lodging at the last minute as well as another Über ride.
Perhaps they could inform possible guests this at the same time they ask for credit card info.

What an amazing place to relax and chill. Hot tub is great and the customer service for ALL shifts are the best!

The two complaints I have with this place are, I have not been able to use the wifi in my room since day one of being here and I can rarely get a channel I want to watch, to stay on. I keep getting the ‘signal lost’ message on my screen and after this evenings experience, I won’t bother saying anything. As I really needed ro use the wifi tonight and tried everything I could on a brand new computer, to get it to work with no luck. After running a diagnostic check, it told me to reset my router.
I went to the night window and got ahold of a disgruntled looking hulk of a night woman who sat with a sour look on her face as I described my problem. «So can you please push the button amd reset the router?» «No, I can’t do that» she says, «Oh, you don’t know how to do it?», «It’s not a matter of not knowing how to do it», she said, «I’m not going to do it. Everyome else’s wifi is working fine, it has to be your machine»!!! WTF?!? I almost lost it on this «lady» but figured
to just turn and walk away. Clean room, yes, conveniences like tv and internet that one mormally takes for granted, spotty or non existent, Check! Incredibly rude behemoth of a night person who feels she can’t be bothered to help and makes sure you know it… Yep! I’ll pay more next time to deal with a human! (By the way, if her boss reads this, it was the. night of 21/21/15−12/22/15!!)

We were looking for a reasonably priced, clean and quiet place to stay for three nights. A friend recommended the St. George so that’s where we went. It was just what we were looking for. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed; a fridge and a microwave. We were in the back of the inn and it was extremely quiet. There were plenty of restaurants, etc., nearby. For the money, we’d say this is an excellent choice.

The St. George was a great place for my family and I to stay. The price was great and the newly updated suites were very nice. I was able to work in the suite using their WIFI with no problem while my family used the swimming pool. There were tons of options to go out and find great places to eat that were even within walking distance. I would recommend the St. George.

I had to update this down to one stars since 0 isn’t available after an odd and scary interaction with hotel manager this morning (I saw a review on Unilocal that I disregarded earlier about similar type of interaction that I know now is probably true)
I was making a work phone call this morning via skype outside (since Wi if doesn’t work in the room), and manager or a desk clerk wanted me to be quieter — reasonable request but delivered in a way that suggest at the minimum psychological issues or drug use — he was screaming at me in a way that can definitely be considered an assault by most. We didn’t want to waste time calling police but I have to say that in decades traveling I have never seen anything like this before. U can’t call it rude, it’s a whole different class of interaction I can’t describe like anything less than abusive. I was scared he’d hit me, although obviously as a 5’4 girl I was of obvious low thread. Wow.

For the price it’s the best I could find on the LA area. I just got a job in Beverly Hills and I needed a place to stay while I looked for an apt.

Too bad! I was a fan,. Regarding my recent encounter with Chad and John.
Because I have stayed at your place about two years ago for a few weeks,
I often recommended your place to any who asked if I knew of a place for lodging with good rates and a pool. Never again ! !
My friend was sitting on the ground for five minutes while she was looking for
her reading glasses to check in. John (3pm shift) came out to ask if everything is ok? What is going on? I said we were about to check in. John said «I don’t think so». I said what do you mean? He said «we don’t want you here». I said «why?» John said «your female friend obviously needs help. She is sitting on the floor.» I said, «so? She’s looking for her reading glasses in her bag.» John said again, «we don’t want you here.» So we promptly left. Later I called the next day to complain about the rude treatment. Chad the manager pretty much called me a liar, when he had later checked with John. Chad said, John would never say «we don’t want your kind here». Not what I said… then he argued with me, and raising his voice to yelling. Playing word games with me and deflecting the issue. It is unfortunate a person in a management position needs to communicate his position by yelling and deflecting.
Of course John would justify his actions. Chad told me it’s because I parked in the driveway, not in the parking space provided (NOT available at the time) and because my female friend was sitting in the middle of the driveway. (looking in her bag for her glasses). NOT true! She was sitting near the fence of the pool and I temporarily parked attended so as to allow another to pass. Do you have security video of March 24 about 4 PM? John decided she appeared under the influence. Actually she had been crying earlier. A shame John wouldn’t take one minute to talk to me and my friend, for she was in need of safety and comfort at a low cost. John observed from out the office window, I parked my attended vehicle in the driveway but out of the way, and my friend and I was looking through her luggage for her reading glasses to check in. From this scenario John apparently decided IN HIS HEAD, she is under the influence and came out and asked us to leave. He didn’t want to hear me say, «so? She is looking for her reading glasses in her bag.» Nor did he ask her a single question to corroborate his justifications.
We are both nice people who have web sites, business dealings, respect in our fields. Not a druggie off the bus. How can you make an intelligent decision without enough information. Your rush to judgement may be harmful to others, and shows your ignorance and lack of people skills. Turned away a woman escaping a domestic violence situation. Good job A88HOLES!

So it is your choice. Unless I get an apology and make it right and get good PR, I will make every effort to publicize this incident on the internet, to any newspaper, TV station that has interest. The Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau too. Hospitality, my ass. Complaint letters are on the way. Shared on Facebook. My SEO friend will soon …

So I checked in to this hotel for work 4 nights. after the first day Last minute changes I had to check out decided to check out the first night and the receptionist says you will get 3 days refund back to my card. its been horrible experience to get my money back. only good thing about them price was good but if you want quality service don’t come here

I’ve been stay here on and off since Feb of 2011. I love it. The rooms are huge. Its always quiet so you can get a peaceful nights rest. The staff is helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

i stayed over night in the month of aug in 2009.
well i did a lot of research on travellers website and all of them gave this place a 4 stars minimum. So may b i had more expectations when i reached.
the outward apprreince was pretty bad. rooms did not have ac on so were blazing hot (even at 10 in night as we did a late check in)
Rest every thing was ok. the restroom was the worst of the lot jus okish clean.
the suit had 2 rooms, materbedroom with a king size bed and a bad mattress and the living room had 2 pull out couches. the pull out couches were bad bad bad.
anyways everything else was uneventful. For breakfast they had very fresh and tasty donuts… melt in ur mouths yummy kinds.
the washer dryer room in open only during daytime… for nights its close :(i did want to wash sm clothes
it costed me $ 150.
