I am a new patient of Dr. Liebross through the referral of someone whom I trust completely. I have been looking for a good Doctor for awhile, and believe I may have found him. Dr. Liebross has an excellent bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable right away. I really feel like he took his time with me and listened to my concerns. I believe his diagnosis to be accurate and I didn’t feel like he wanted to do a zillion tests on me right away, as some Doctors tend to do. He just wants to see me again in a few weeks and then go from there. His staff was also pleasant. The office is currently going through a remodel, so expect a little dust, but no big deal.

Dr. Elias is gone now. Both my husband and I saw him for many years. While he is a super nice guy, he failed us both. For me, my iron stores(ferritin) were/was so low, at 5(low is 60 and high is 250+) he gave me no context as to how bad this was in 2006! I suffered needlessly for many years because I needed iron blood infusions bc no amount of oral iron could ever bring me up. Instead he promoted anti-depressants to lift me out of my exhaustion caused by ridiculously low iron!!! I lost a lot of hair, had cold chills and it about ruined my life. I only recently found out about this when he left and I changed Dr. s and got access to my records on-line. Also, my husband has a bicycling accident and he stitched up the gash near his eye, but didn’t notice my husband’s wrist was broken! He’s nice, but… I just had my infusions in 2012 and my husband needs to return to the ortho office since he’s still having trouble with his wrist that was ignored! I’ve seen another Dr. in this practice now. But I am still waiting for the office to get the paperwork necessary to get my sleep Apnea test done. I’ve been waiting for this for 2 months now! I previously had a take home test from Dr. Elias years ago and alto borderline, he did not think there was any reason to pursue. Again, I’m finally getting it evaluated and suffered needlessly for years. I asked my new Dr. about this(why the office can’t forward his notes to my insurance co.) on my last visit and he said, why don’t you just pay for it, I think it only costs $ 200! Wow!

Dr. Elias was great, but unfortunately for his patients, when he left Valley Internal Medicine, we were all«dumped» into a group of doctors(whomever is available when you can get an appointment). I feel it’s now like visiting a clinic with no personal rapport with a specific doctor. You’re just a name on a laptop with a problem… no history, no personal attention, etc. I’m looking elsewhere. I love this place. It’s the first one where I’ve so far been 100% satisfied. The doctors really listen to you and take your opinions into consideration when putting together a plan. While I havent always been impressed with the office staff, I have always been impressed with the doctors. Dr. Elias is by far my favorite(I’m a little biased since he’s the only one I’ve really seen), but the other doctors are great too. Both the ones I’ve seen and the ones I’ve heard about have gotten great reviews.

They filtered out a negative review on here, but left the 5-star review on here. So, I am writing to add some perspective. They clearly have a management problem at Valley Internal. Their staff are not what I am looking for in customer service from the front desk to the billing department. I don’t know about Dr. Elias, but I do know about a few others of the doctors from this group(they have a bunch of locations), which I will not name. ONE of their doctors I did have a positive experience with in terms of friendliness, but not 100% confident I got the best medical advice. Two other doctors there I did not enjoy or respect. I only offer this to help people realize this is a huge group of doctors and you will have a hard time finding a nephrologist who isn’t in this giant group(in the Valley anyway). But because I don’t like the service, I am avoiding this place myself.
