this is the worse store walgreens on ventura blvd, the manager /​owner sung shin have no customer service or management skills. he have not respect customers, he get rid of good employees that’s why there is always a turn over of staff. the pharmacy is the only area where the pharmacists remains, because he need them. i will never shop walgreens again.

Horrible service with the pharmacy. Waited on hold for 30 minutes to see if my prescription was ready… it wasn’t and the girl said it would be ready in 30 minutes. My husband went to pick it up an hour and a half later and it still wasn’t ready.
I will never use this pharmacy again. The staff is incompetent.

Really great staff of people! My prescription was filled quickly and correctly, and the staff made sure to ask me about any questions I may have about my medication. Helen is great, and so is the male pharmacist (I forgot his name), and they not only treat the patients with respect, but they treat their staff with respect too. Really happy with this pharmacy!

Three stars for the amount of people who need extra extra help, like doc did wrong RX, people haven’t been here in a while, RX confusion, lots of calls to the doctors office. This is why it is extremely busy, the customers need an extraordinary amount of services. Expect to wait, but also expect a resolution and a willingness to help.

Huge line at pharmacy counter very often, and staff is indifferent and dismissive. Even after making a mistake on my Rx, they tried to make it sound like my doctor’s fault. While I was waiting on them, they had another customer at the counter that they handed a wrong Rx to, which she thankfully caught right away. I have zero confidence in the team here and will be using Unilocal to find a better pharmacy as soon as I’m done with this review. Don’t fill your Rx here!

I’ve lived in LA for about a decade and have been to numerous pharmacies around the city during that time (for beauty, photo, food and health care-​related purchases). It’s hard to find good customer service, but this particular Walgreens has given me and my family consistently excellent customer service, from the pharmacy staff to the regular store staff, and we appreciate that. It’s very clean, well-​organized and has a good variety of products (esp. in food, beverages, and house-​related items). It’s very close to my house, convenient and fast. Great store and nice addition to Tarzana! And a lot of parking in the back.

Limited store hours are very inconvenient. I went by Sunday morning around 9:30 thinking they’d be open to find out they open at 10:00 on Sundays. I went back at 2:00 and they were closed for lunch. I just spoke with the store manager who said that by law they need to close for lunch since there’s only one pharmacist there on Sundays and that they close from 1:30 to 2:30. I suggested that they post that in their store hours online, in store, and on their voice mail but something tells me they won’t.

Best toy section for a drug store/​convenient store ever. They have the newest and usually hippest toys! They also have really good specials on stuff all the time.
Last but not least, the staff is really helpful and will give you discounts here and there where they see fit. They just so happen to see fit often for me, that’s for sure. Of course I am rediculius my funny and nice, so it’s well deserved mutual respect!!!

The store is quite small for a Big box store. The pharmacy is a bit slow and there was a bunch of fruit flies bugging people in the waiting area. Not really sterile. And by waiting area, I mean, 3 really old chairs and an office chair.

The staff in the store and pharmacy are mostly pleasant, competent, and caring. The store itself is very clean and organized. Seems that the GM here is doing a great job at leading and managing this store.
However, the 2 guys who work in the pharmacy and the dark-​haired pharmacist have always given exceptionally great service over time. I appreciate that they are calm and competent.
They also have Xyience energy drinks (3 flavors!) in their drink fridge, which are difficult to find and not stocked at other Walgreens locations. Win!
