History

Established in 2001.

B-​Sharp Entertainment was formed in 2001 by DJ Brendan Lafferty, a former radio, nightclub and skating rink DJ. Prior to launching B-​Sharp, Brendan previously operated other DJ entertainment ventures including On The Radio Pro DJs (1993 to 2001) and Pulsations Disc Jockey Service (1987 to 1993). Since its inception, B-​Sharp has been honored to entertain for some of Southern New England’s most discerning clientele, on the most important days of their lives. Business Owner

A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Brendan got his start in September of 1986 when he volunteered to play music at his school’s dances. Word about his talents spread, and he began taking on new bookings for other organizations. Five years later, after finishing high school, Brendan began perfecting his skills through work at local skating rinks, in nightclubs, and eventually, on the radio at New Bedford’s «Fun 107 and also at Providence’s «Kix 106. Brendan left radio in early 2000 to focus exclusively on his mobile DJ business. Now, he entertains at more than 80 celebrations each year.
