Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading over to the old courthouse. Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a cappuccino. Great sandwich, great cappuccino, and excellent service! I’ll be back here next time I’m around Taunton. What a great start to a terrific day!

A must for breakfast every Sunday! Always a great welcome from Sheila and frequent customers come because of the food and the Family atmosphere that Sheila provides for everyone. Don’t be surprised if you get a hug on the way out.

Really solid. Excellent, cheerful and swift service. Portuguese french toast is the way to go. Very friendly regular crowd. Bonus: they serve mimosas and bloody marys.

Nice little place in downtown Taunton. The food was very good, nice breakfast variety. I loved our waitress who was as quick witted as quick delivering our food. She is a person who obviously loves her job. As we all know, the waitstaff impacts the experience greatly to the point where blah food is tolerable. This place had very good food and excellent service. If I had to say something about an item that needs improvement, I’d say it was the coffee. A bit bitter. However it won’t stop me from going back.

This place has the best omelettes you’ll ever have! Super friendly staff, cozy little place off the Taunton green. And great prices too! The only thing I don’t like about Off Broadway is the parking situation — its on street parking but you have to pay, but still absolutely worth it! Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.

Sunday brunch was great. I had the croissant sandwich with Linguica. It was amazing(croissant, egg, and Linguica are 3 wonderful things). The home fries stopped me from giving this 5 stars. They were just okay but they weren’t crispy. I would go again!

Love this place! We have family near Taunton and was recommended to come here. So whenever we visit them, we visit Off Broadway! The food is excellent and reasonably priced. No complaints at all for their breakfast. The wait staff was also super friendly.

Stopped in for lunch. I got the honey bbq chicken sandwich, my husband got the Portuguese steak. We both liked our meals. My husband’s only complaint was their wasn’t enough steak on his sandwich. My meal was very good though! I’d definitely return though. Next time for breakfast ;)

driving to Boston, have 40 min to spare so off 24 to Taunton based on Unilocal reviews. Busy on a Sunday around 10 for sure, weird overflow seating in the basement… images of being crushed and stomped trying to escape in case of fire. …Very attentive young waitresses but alas the food. Hohum. 2 poached eggs swimming in water, Grey soft potatoes as homefries, limp bacon not drained, very fatty. Companion got high sodium hash. cranberry walnut pancake was just plain terrible. Tough batter, dried hard cranberries and huge hunts of nuts. Coffee weak. The water was good though. I’d skip this place if there is another option, but Taunton is not the hot bed of culinary delights. Appears to be more of a social gathering spot for locals more than a good food destination. My advice is to wait for a table at street level. That basement is creepy.

OMG… as my grandson says«This place is the BOMB». It’s my go-to for breakfast and it’s amazing. The corned beef hash is great. My“usual” is the Western no onions extra cheese. And if you were so inclined you could even have a Mimosa or a Bloody with your breakfast! Great staff. .especially Sheila. LOVE the Off!!!

My wife and I both really enjoyed our breakfast this morning! The service was excellent. She had the veggie omelette and I had eggs, bacon, home fries and Portuguese French toast. The portions were good and everything on the menu is reasonably priced. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast. Keep up the great work/service.

First time patrons. Very good food — my bf got omelet with onions, cheese and linguica with homefries. I got the Portuguese sweet bread french toast with a side of homemade corn beef hash. The homefries are DELICIOUS. The homemade hash is a little bland but I think it’s because it’s not the high sodium hash I am used to eating. Service was slow but I think it’s because it’s made to order. We went on a snowy day around 11 am and it was packed. It’s seat yourself and they take credit cards. They also serve liquor. Staff were pleasant. We will definitely going back.

Fantastic find! In town for a wedding and came in for breakfast. They were out of corned beef hash, but recommended the linguica sausage hash. How do people in this town eat anything else for breakfast? It’s amazing!

We went for Mothers Day breakfast. Our server was wonderful. She was so good, she didn’t even write our order down. Although they were packed, and ran out of more than one item by the time my family got there, the service was amazing, the food good, the atmosphere family friendly(babies making messes is fine) and the prices really good. Def get big plates for little dollar. I had a wonderful Mother’s Day and it started here. Def recommend for a mom and pop joint — cheap and good. We liked it. This is more like home cooking.

I really like this place. Everything I have ever had here has been delicious. I really love the Portuguese sweet bread french toast. The homefries are tasty, and are usually nice and crispy. The eggs are always prepared to perfection as well. A couple of times I did have an omelet with a veggies, and I remember being unimpressed with the veggies. They seem like they were prepped way to far in advance, but that is my only complaint,(OHH!) the parking could also be better, but it is centrally located in town, so that is to be expected. Off Broadway diner is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Their menu is huge, and filled with local favorites. They also serve lunch and dinner, so if you are in the area, and are looking for a bite to eat I suggest you check them out!

Off Broadway Diner is one of Taunton’s go to breakfast places these days! Service has gotten so much better since I first came here and I hope it continues to stay that way since the last 2 times I’ve come it has gotten better each time. Parking can be a little tricky due to the fact that this place is in the city and it can get busy. There has been very little wait time while I’ve gone, even when its been packed the most time I have waited was maybe 10 minutes. The chocolate strawberry waffles are really good and sweet. They also have a ton of different items that your average breakfast place doesn’t have, like the linguica omlet or Portuguese bread french toast. Prices are comparable to the usual breakfast spots, but the portions are great here and your guaranteed to take food home. They also serve dinner, but I’ve never tried it. 4.5 stars
