The Florida Keys Wild Bird Center has a Visitor Sanctuary located at 93 600 on the bayside and a Hospital located at 93 997 on the oceanside in Key Largo, FL. The Sanctuary is open from sunrise to sunset and the Hospital is open from 8am-​5pm 7 days/​week with out of hour on-​call staff support 24X7. The Center’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release native and migratory birds that have been harmed or displaced, to provide or locate a humane shelter for those birds that cannot be released and to educate the public toward the importance of coexistence with all the wild bird species.
