I cannot say enough good things about the company, Ringer Windows, AND my gorgeous new windows. Greg Ringer (owner) came out, himself, to give me the initial quote. The price was extremely reasonable. Jake, the installer, was fabulous. I was referred by a neighbor who also couldn’t say enough good things about Ringer. One of the best things about them is that they DO NOT outsource for installation. They always use their own people. Locally owned and operated … windows are even manufactured locally by Ringer. Support local businesses and get the quality and professionalism you deserve. (I left this same review on Google, as well)

For some reason, my work account review got zapped, so here it is again now that I have my own personal account. Because these guys did great work at a great price and deserve the kudos!
Bought a 30 year old home in NW Hills with the original brown aluminum frame windows. Fogged up, leaky, sizzling hot to the touch after facing the afternoon sun. In short they were miserable. I shopped every window manufacturer and installer I could find (Pella, Marvin, Home Depot, Lowes, Renewal by Anderson) to name a few.
The prices ranged from high to absurd. The slimy sales tactics used by some of these weasels (Renewal by Anderson I’m looking at you!) were beyond belief, and I’ve been in the car business for over 30 years! RbA went from $ 63K to $ 35K in 20 minutes of «negotiating». Which was too bad because I really wanted their windows. Had they gotten to $ 30K I’d have written them a check. Thank goodness they didn’t.
Thirty days later I see our neighbor getting vinyl windows installed by Ringer Windows. She is a single mom, and her dad who is looking out for her is very fastidious, so it really piques my interest. Her install went great. The windows and sliding glass doors look terrific. The other online reviews are great. So my wife and I drive out to visit Ringer Windows factory in Taylor.
We meet Greg Ringer who takes us through the build process, gives us… not so much a sales pitch… but an education, and we sign up on the spot. Now, this is November and they are so busy, plus with end of the year and holidays, that we can’t get scheduled until the second week in February!
A couple of minor delays due to weather and other glitches, and I finally get 17 windows and 4 sliders installed over 4 days during late March.
Jake and Herman were the same guys who did our neighbors windows and they were punctual, professional and clean. They did an amazing job of installing the windows, keeping us informed of the progress and cleaning up each afternoon before they left. I thought it was going to be a miserable experience, but it was great! Now, don’t get me wrong… there was a ton of dust everywhere from them having to cut the concrete footing for two of the sliders with a saw, but that was the original home builders fault, not theirs.
The windows I bought were the best ones they offer and the whole home was $ 18K installed, or about half what Renewal by Anderson offered. It was so inexpensive that I spent about 10% more to have laminated safety glass installed. Now not only is my house keeping the temperatures I set, it is SO quiet, and SO safe! I highly suggest this addition to your windows.
The bottom line is that the product is good, the installation team I got was great, and the price was the best I could find. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Austin area looking for new or replacement windows.

Our experience with Ringer windows was excellent from start to finish! Our online search for local window replacement lead us to Ringer Windows who had numerous excellent reviews. Georgia came out and showed us some samples and took preliminary measurements and got an idea of what we wanted. She sent us the quote that required ½ payment up front with the balance after the new windows were installed. Our 3000 sf house has 23 windows that took Jake and his professional crew 2 days to install. The results are amazing and we could tell the difference immediately. The best part, was the windows were installed over the weekend, which was extremely beneficial to us, since my wife and I work from home. I can’t think of a single thing that would have made our experience better. We left them to their work for several hours and were amazed at their quick progress and painstaking attention to detail. We would recommend Ringer Windows to anyone who needs new or replacement windows.

We just had an amazing experience with a locally window company. Ringer Windows came out and gave us a price to replace all of our windows. They did not give us a 2 hour presentation on why there company is the best, bla bla bla. What they did do is give us a good price for a good quality product (windows). They even invited us out to the factory to see the windows being made. The job was done in one day. The installers where a great bunch of guys, and kept the area clean. We highly recommend this company for your next window project.

We like Ringer Windows so much we’ve used them to replace all the windows in our last house. We moved earlier this year, and missed having the nice new windows so much we had them replace all the windows in our new house as well! (My review from our previous home is dated 7÷30÷2014).
Again, a great experience. The insulation (both heat/​cold and noise) is great. We love being able to have our blinds open even during the middle of summer and barely being able to notice the heat.
Again, 2 great experiences for us.

Greg Ringer was easy to talk to, and he did not try to sell us too much, although he understood we were getting other estimates before making a final decision. Their price was the best we found, for better quality. The windows look great and our house is much more comfortable (the rooms are all the same temperature now). I highly recommend Ringer Windows.

I selected Ringer windows after interviewing two other companies. I went with Ringer because they manufacture and install their own windows — no middlemen or subcontractors. They were competitively priced, did a fast and clean single day install, and cleaned up after themselves. It was nice dealing directly with the owner too. They did a great job and recommend them without hesitation.

Ringer Windows is the best! They installed some nice, custom, low-​e, argon-​filled, double-​pane vinyl windows and a sliding glass door for less than half what Renewal by Andersen was charging. They also beat out Home Depot on price by a fair amount. In addition, their service was great, and the installers did a great job — they re-​grouted where the frame met my stone siding and caulked everything very cleanly. It looks good. It sounds quiet (compared to old aluminum single-​pane windows). I don’t know how anyone else can compete in the Austin area. Ringer is a local business that will install some high-​quality custom-​fitted windows. I highly recommend them.

Best experience with any contractor I’ve ever had… period. The windows were completed two weeks early, replaced in one day and – WOW – they look amazing! I had no idea having the windows redone would make such an enormous difference in my home. The glass is somehow crystal clear… I can’t wait to get the front of the house done.
Oh, and no surprises on price… they gave me a fair bid, then did it for what they said they would do it for. I’m blown away by Ringer windows… thanks Chuck and Jake for a great job from start to finish. I am looking forward to doing more business with this company in the future.

Our entire experience with Ringer Windows was great. The initial consultation was informative, friendly, and not at all pushy. Their product is high quality, has better efficiency ratings, and was quoted lower than their competitors. The crew who installed our 9 windows was on-​time, professional and courteous. All this AND they are local. We are very pleased with this investment, and I can already tell our AC is running less often.

We wanted new windows to replace our aluminum paned 1960“s drafty ones. I got quotes from several national companies that were way out of our pocket book range. Then I found Ringer Windows online. A match made in heaven! We are all about buy locally and these windows are made right here in Pflugerville Tx. My daughter and I even went to the factory to see how they make them. I contacted them online and Greg Ringer came out and gave us a quote that was so reasonable and affordable we were in shock! Greg is also so proud of his windows and that is unusual these days someone who believes in what they are selling. We had 9 windows to replace and 2 sliding glass patio doors, one of which was 10 ft. We were going to do the windows first and wait on the doors since we figured we wouldn’t be able to afford them. But at Greg’s price we got it all done for about ¹⁄₃ the price of all the others. Our new windows are the best looking I’ve seen, and they do have more window surface which I didn“t understand until I saw them. They are beautiful and it is so much quieter now. Jake and the guys doing the installation did a great job and we appreciate and highly recommend them and their windows to anyone who will listen, Ringer Windows made for us Texans! Marilyn C.

Had 8 windows replaced and installed a new sliding patio door. From the initial quote to the final installation, everything went great. I had a couple other quotes and Ringer’s price was right on with everyone else, except I came to the conclusion that his locally manufactured windows are superior to name brand windows quoted by other companies. Also, the fact that they use their own in house crew for the installation meant quality as well.

We have had our Ringer windows for just over one year. I love them! Our old aluminum windows were leaky and a fire hazard (we couldn’t open most of them). Our new windows have made our house more quiet, energy efficient, and safer. I truly enjoyed working with Greg, the owner, and Jake, the main installer. They were both prompt, informative, professional, and all around nice guys. Greg is passionate about windows and even invites you to come tour his factory and see how they are made. I had a question after installation, and Greg stopped by to answer my question. I love that these are local guys and they do want to do a good job as a lot of their business is by word of mouth. In fact, they have done a few houses on our street and we are all happy customers! I am puzzled by the poor review and the only thing I can contribute it to is that maybe Ringer Windows has gotten so busy they are a little overwhelmed. If that is the case, I am confident that Greg will get a handle on it and continue to serve his customers well.

I have heard very good things about Ringer’s windows but currently communication and service are lacking.
I will post a follow up after I see how the windows work after we do the measuring ourselves.
I had to call 3 different times and remind Greg about having their team come out and measure the windows.
They said they highly recommend a member of their team come measure the windows based on this quoted from one of the emails.
«There are more than a few ways to handle Retrofit Windows and depending on how your installer does it, makes all the difference in how they are measured. If you choose to have us measure, we need to hook-​up with your window guy at the time of measure and discuss the process. There are way too many chances for mistakes if we don’t.»
Each time no one called me back and then recently I received an email from Greg stating they were too busy with bigger jobs but they would get to me when they had time.
He also did not say when they would have time.
I will update my review if things turn around with my experience at Ringer Windows but currently we are not feeling very well taken care of by a company that I assume likes to have word of mouth referrals.
The main reason we still want to try them is based on word of mouth on the window build quality and the fact they are local. My hopes are we will not regret the next steps.
