The 30,126 sqft store is located in front of Oakwood Heritage Hospital on Telegraph south of Wick Rd, this Former Farmer Jack originally built in 1998 will be transformed into our newest Thrift Store and Donation Center supported by 40 employees and 5 ARC program beneficiaries.
On Saturday, March 9th, 2013 Our newest Store & Donation Center opened with 320 persons in line! Refreshments of coffee, donuts & hotdogs were provided by our own Culinary Arts department.
A special guest appearance from Paws of the Detroit Tigers from 10am to Noon brightened up faces of all ages. After a good days shopping, metro Detroit’s best mobile food vendors will serve up meals during a Motor City Street Eats food truck rally, including Green Zebra, new American-stlye; People’s Pierogi Collective, gourmet Polish dumplings; Debajo del Sol; Spanish-style tap, and Treat Dreams; unique gourmet flavored ice cream.
